The Clubbing Takahina

On this faithful day 12th Jan 08, Takahina finally went to do something which he wanted to do for a long time. Not exactly because he wanted to do it, but he wants to experience it. And partly it's also on that day he wanted to drink. Stress is building up in his workplace and alcohol is a way to get that off.

Just like it happened on 1st Jan 08 when Takahina gone gaga over some Bailey's.

So Takahina contacted people. Like some guy who team kills friends in any games, Samuel Lim Wen Jun!!!!!

Anyways, I called up a few people. Mainly the new revamped Rurouni group.

So, Takahina tried to attract soldiers and buy horse, but only managed to gather Ben, Tian Wei and Chin Han. Chin Han was VERY late due to work. Ben and Tian Wei met up first with Takahina, then we proceeded down to meet Samuel LIM WEN JUN at Tiong Bahru.

Anyways, we then met up with one of Samuel LIM WEN JUN's friend whom is a Guard and ORD (lucky shit) and headed down. Strange to say, it's like a secret building constructed within the depths of a pile of old HDB flats. Very contrasting, but still alright. You can see the security guards hanging around the area being traffic police.

There was this girl whom the ex-Guards approached. Her name should be Hui Ying, if I;m not wrong. She happens to be the god-sister of the guards. So i'll call her Guard God Sister. She met up with us and we entered the dungeon of Zouk.

Beneath the lair of darkness and stairs, lies the human polluted place and alcohol laid area of Zouk. The dungeon keeper? The bouncer.

We looked around for Samuel LIM WEN JUN's friend to celebrate his birthday and secondly, to clear him of the alcohol he can waste, which Takahina and his friends are more than willing.



After we drank, we felt like moshing, that's when we realised the drinks are poisoned! Then, Samuel LIM WEN JUN took out his noob noob handphone, and started to act stupid like shooting at us...

Firstly he made a good team kill of the heroes all there, the guard, the birthday boy, the guard god sister, Takahina, Ben, Tian Wei, the storeman, the ARTI...

Don't know why, Takahina seems to be able to smile more these few days. Gone are the old days when he seem so serious. His thinking has been more opened minded too. Or maybe the smiles are dude to the effect from the booze. But anyways, Takahina has somewhat grew less emo towards the usual sianning, and such problems. So the clubbing became like an observation lab u know? Of course not an observation lab for Takahina's view of woman flesh, but more of the mentality and the behavioural. It's quite interesting actually, alcohol can bring out the carnal nature of anyone, and it's like a hunting ground for anyone.

That's why Takahina once said, "Humans are the strangest beings on earth. They deny their own true behaviour and seek for something to make it come out, but yet that thing is normally illegal."

And just look at the hair of all of us. Ben's hair look the best. ^^

Takahina won't condemn clubbing, but neither will he absolutely accept it. There's this sort of human defying nature within him, that doesn't like the action of buaing. Ass vs Ass, Cock vs Ass, Cock vs Cock (oops), and Cock vs Cheebyes.

As you seem guys have everypart of the buaing action. Seldom do u see cheebye vs cheebyes.

In fact, let me tell u one accident which happened when Takahina went for his first clubbing in Australia.

He was drinking, happily and watching over the little black hair guys and gold hair guys competing over some fat gold hair girl. Then that wasn't the worse case. 1 fucking guy came over, he lumped his hands over Takahina's shoulder while singing along...

The 2008 Start Takahina

The year of 2008 didn't start out well physically for some people. Takahina has been hearing news of people dying in this week.

First, one major in Kranji Camp (that's my camp by the way) collapsed and died after a life run. And it's a very smooth and comfortable pace from what I've heard which would have posed no challenge at all to the major. Yet still he just collapsed and died. Life is queer when it comes to such issues. You can just die all of a sudden and no one knows why at all.

Takahina had hoped that his death would at least cancel 1 or 2 life runs in my battalion.

Nothing like that happened.

Anyways, yesterday this certain local celebrity named... MC king, he was announced MC for eternity. I haven't really read up on his report, but from what I heard he died after like a few coughs and shivers and similar stuff like that. So you see, anyone could die so easily and unexpectedly.

First a major, then a MC king who really turned MC God.

Next person whom I heard of a bad news, is Shu Qin. She is diagnosed with Hepetitis B.

She had some stomach pains or some pains and went to look for doctor who eventually diagnosed her with Hepetitis B. In case you people do not know what is Hepetitis B, it's a virus or some sorts (if I'm not wrong) that flows in your blood. Meaning, your blood has a lack of immunity or something like that.

That lack of immunity or something like that is caused by the gradual failure of your liver. Which will eventually lead to liver cancer, unless you do something to it
like eat lots of medicine.

SO to sum it up:

Hep B means, your liver is fucked and needs some medicine if not it's really fucked.

Ok fuck, i'm no doctor so don't expect me to fully give the lowdown. I only know the superficial side while wikipedia knows the rest.

But in any case, it isn't a good thing. Any death of any kind of shit isn't good.


However, things aren't always too bad. At the true start of 2008, Takahina was watching fireworks with Rong, Ben, Esther and Tian Wei (Esther is Tian Wei's gf) and after the fireworks, drinking some Bailey's with them. After some Bailey's, Takahina went mad and did 100 push up with the guys while Esther was busy talking photos of us. If possible I'll post them up man, just wait till I obtain the pics from him. We were a little tipsy... ok, maybe it's just me. I was a little tipsy at that time, and I was like WATEVER!!!

I tried to keep my balance, it posted a little challenge. I tried to walk in a straight line, i had to gather my inner conscience. Whenever I stood up, I had to like arch my feet forward to prevent a fall. When I layed down on the floor, I felt like I didn't have to do my COS the next day. (Yes i tio COS on 010108)

But then now I know inside. I like this feeling. Sure the alcohol didnt' taste nice, but the feeling of being able to forgo like almost everything in this world sure felt good. The troubles, the pain, the society, everything is redundant at that point of time. All that matters is yourself, your pleasure. If this goes on, I think i'll become an alcoholic. And really, getting urself somewhat drunk is quite a good way to go thru the crossover. Cause you don't give a care of this world at that point of time, and it's precious you don't get bogged down by the fuck in 2007 at 2008's start.

The next day I booked in in the morning, I went to vomit first before I took over the COS duty.

Hope 2008 would be good. Cause it's my ORD year as well.

But then till that historical moment, Takahina has to sign off cause he tio COS duty again on a sunday.

Don't worry, the results won't be too surprising.



Number 3 in the countdown, and a not surprising one, will be the NS people I've met in this whole year.

But the main particular one, will be a man who made me realize reality in a whole different way.

As you guys know, Takahina used to be a trainee in St John who quit half way after getting his uniform and experiencing something called a Changing Parade. Discipline and hardship was somewhat enforced into him by St John. He hated it, but then at least St John has this unity called "suffering together".

Somehow, Takahina is a little regretful he went awol for St John.

For NS, you can't go awol, cause if u do so, your whole life will be awol.

Anyways, it's been a year in NS, Takahina is getting prolly adapted to the fucked up life in it. But then ever since he entered operation lifestyle and went into office work(Yes, he's an office spec), he experienced a new part of life which is more familiar to the working lifestyle of adulthood and something which you can never experience if you're a chiong sua soldier.

Office Politics.

The period while he was a trainee, was tough... and freedom-less, but at least he found buddies and less.... scheming people.

Buddies such as them...



On the left is yours truly, middle is someone named Boon Jun. Because of him, Takahina got a new name called Woon Jun in there, while he got called Boon Han.

There were also times when my instructors approached me and called me Boon Jun, people approached him and called him Boon Jun.

Woon Han this name, was non-existence.

And on the extreme right was Kenn. He has a photo of him playing CS with SAR 21 and his bunkmates in the bunk. Great stuff ^^

But now it's different. In the office and operational lifestyle, it's totally different.

Operational consist of merits, power and rank fighting, and hypocrites. A lot of it. And Takahina is greatly deterred by such stuff, but realises that he has to play it to ensure his survival in the great world.

People abusing their power, people spreading things which they presume they know about but they don't, people whom you don't want to let them know of stuff you say, unreal truth, helplessness of people in the bottom of the chain.

And you think you've seen it all. That is quite sad really. And to think, this is just NS, a portion whereby it's only a small chip in the office world. The romantism of Takahina is slowly slowly destroyed by the realism of the world. And for once, Takahina really felt anger, furious by a small issue turned big.

It's not really convenient to write them all down, and state on the person who is actually number 3 in the countdown. But he is in this countdown, cause of a the realism he showed me in this world unwittingly. And Takahina thought he knew it all. And it's also because of this that Takahina finally learns on how to be ruthless when he needs to, and to be like a chameleon, truly adaptive and street smart when he needs to. To being ruthless to anyone when he really needs to, to being adaptive and street smart at all cost in this world.

Takahina once stated before, "Never believe in anyone, not even yourself". This phrase is more profound than it seems, it instils beliefs in self-discipline, self adventuring, and the way to be ruthless and selfish when you need to. A chip of the block incident out of an example of a true Office Politics, further enforces it.

Office politics is scary. No wonder my mother complained about it so much while she was working in her bank.

Number 2 in the countdown, is someone and something which Takahina hadn't dare to tell anyone. Currently only 1 guy knows about it and if possible Takahina will still want to keep it down. But out of respect for this person who once "loved" me, Takahina will mention about her.

My first and ex-girlfriend, Tan Shu Qin. (I won't post up her photo out of respect for her)

Yes, you guys heard it first and now. Takahina did have a girlfriend.

I know her through... DDR.

Yes you heard me DDR. Why? Cause she plays DDR as well, and she's as good, if not better than me. DDR is almost religious to her, and somehow that scares me a little. But when I know her at that time, I still didn't know.

Takahina don't really know much people in the local DDR society, he normally plays DDR by himself or with Tian Wei. But on this faithful day, Takahina was out for a night out, and went to the local CCK lot 1. Takahina likes Lot 1, cause the arcade has one of the most updated music and dance stimulation games. And is also conveniently very close to his camps. In fact it's the closest shopping centers around.

Takahina was playing DDR alone, when Shu Qin asked if she can join in, (cause DDR 1 credit can play 2 persons). And naturally Takahina welcomed her in. Soon after a few rounds of DDR, Takahina boldly asks for her number, which she gave without any concern whatsoever. From then on, Takahina begin to converse with her frequently.

Eventually things get a little heated up, with Shu Qin somehow asking funny questions and saying funny stuff. Emotions gets head on, and Takahina became Shu Qin's boyfriend outrightly. We went out on dates a few times, had frequent phone calls and private moments together (No hanky panky though). And on the 21st December, the relationship was off -- at least for me.

Not that there's no feeling involved, but Takahina can honestly say this, if given more time, more rational thinking, Takahina won't have said the "yes" word.

Takahina asks for a few things regarding relationship, and one of them is communication. Shu Qin fails terribly in that area, which is also one of the reason why we broke up. Communication in a relationship is like experience points in a RPG, it can make a lousy character to be one of the best characters, likewise good communication between both parties can have a relationship plausible. Maybe not the best of any relationship but communication can keep a relationship ongoing. I believe in the long term, communication will be the most important thing between any couple.

Shu Qin wasn't really well educated and her linguistic skills are rather... poor. To be frank, of her close to 500 sms I've received (she is good at spamming smses), I can't comprehend fully 99% of them. I have to use my comprehension skills to decipher her smses. When I try to talk to her, it's almost like talking to a primary 1 school kid. And she tends to get rather childish and outrageous on occasions... All in all, not really the perfect girlfriend you would want.

Communication is rather difficult. She don't understand what I really want, and I don't recognize or agree what she really needs. I tried to held up the relationship, I tried to communicate with her, I tried to be patient. I can't.

Her somewhat foolishness, persistence and lack of independance deterred me eventually, and Takahina ended his first relation. It was a... rather peaceful one. No arguments, no tears. Just smses and questions.

Why Shu Qin is in my countdown for the 2nd place, it's cause she taught me something, something Takahina would never have thought, and she's the one person, to have ever made Takahina deny and break all his own principles and laws.

What she taught me. She showed me this thing called "love without thought". For the first time, Takahina sees how someone, a girl especially in love can act. (or maybe it's only her). Somehow, the relationship opened a new sighting to Takahina's view which I can't really explain. The feeling of being loved, the feeling of being concerned and wanted is not something you can get anytime.

Somehow, after this whole incident I've grown more respectful to girls in love. Regardless of how shameless, how incredible or how wrong it should be. I don't mean girls in lust though. Lust and Love is a total different thing.

She gave me... an eye opener, she gave me an experience, she really shocked my life this year on how careful I should have been. There arises how I broke my own principles. Never break anyone's heart. Never be the one to initiate the breakup. It seems Takahina overly romantism and idealism is already gone.

Did she really love me? Or does she actually understand what is love exactly. No one knows for sure, I doubt if she herself knows it too. And it's now I understand why they also say girls hurt the most in a relationship, if all girls are really putting in their feelings and no variables involved that is.

The time is here and now. The top person who influenced Takahina the most. This person, doesn't know who is Takahina. Takahina have never seen this person in real life. Then how would Takahina know this person who is unrelated to Takahina at all? His book. The person...



Yes. Robert Kiyosaki.

Takahina was about to go overseas to Australia for his NS training when he met up with Tian Wei for supper. Then Tian Wei passed him this book... this sacred holy book called...

Rich Dad Poor Dad.

From then on, the opinions, the suggestions and the many things which the book taught and talked about enlightened and fully opened the views of Takahina. Perhaps its because the book and what Robert taught about is somewhat similar and different to Takahina's Takahinaism, perhaps it's because the views in it is logical, sensible and yet creatively interesting to Takahina. Takahina is instantly overwhelmed and overtaken by it's power. Financial power perhaps.

What the book taught, is more than just financial knowledge and the wealth. It's the principles behind it.

One thing I've just seen through is about fear. The fear of rejection, money, risk etc etc. Human has many fear, money is one of them and therefore they call for security, hence the opinion of a job security is pleasing to anyone. But normally a job security would render you the lost of financial security.

But behind such a simple thought, it's not just fear of money, but I've learned of fear of rejection and such, and what people will do with it. Yes the book was intended to shape one up to be rich, but then what matters in being rich, is the person behind it. And from reading it, I've gained knowledge of how exactly and what exactly I should do to achieve my dreams, my wants, my needs. It takes more than just discipline, more than just skills required, more than just knowledge. Its takes a whole new person willing to make changes, willing to make risk, willing to go out there and do something, after doing careful planning and organising. Even if you lose, you fail, you go down. Treat it as a lesson and try try try again.

It almost seems to be a simple lesson we learn and hear in everyday life.

"One is never too old to learn." - Chinese Proverb we hear everywhere.

"Failure is the mother of all success."(sounds damn funny) - Chinese Proverb we hear everywhere.

Self Discipline instiled in us by NS.

And some other advices and things you never hear or was opposed to, such as taking on risk. Robert Kiyosaki also continued on stating on many financial knowledge stuff and characteristics. It also carried on talking about investment, business knowledge many other should know things in money and the rat race of life which the majority of the world is unknowingly in. Takahina has no wish to be in it, and undeniably, Takahina will be following what Robert Kiyosaki has taught in. Maybe not totally, Takahina will model his teachings in the book to suit Takahina's lifestyle. But, certainly, it'll be affected and modelled after what "Rich Dad Poor Dad" said.

I don't know how this book affected Tian Wei, but this book affected the way I operate now. It also affect on how I think about my future. I don't have the skills to be financially free, don't have the character yet to be one. But Takahina will strive to be one. Takahina will be a person he wants to be, and fulfill the dreams he wants. Thanks to Robert Kiyosaki's book. He may not know it, but the degree this book changed me, is enormous.

Why this book is number 1 in the countdown is for obvious reason. This book I think could be attributed to shaping out my future path. And the future, will be going on and on.

The 5 most influential people in Takahina's 2007

Times have 1.
Forbes have 1.

Heck almost all big time magazines have 1. And this year's Times most influential person award goes to Putin, the Russia Prime Minister (or is it President, don't know).

But well, Takahina's 2007, no doubt a very NSed filled year... is quite rather a year for Takahina. Cause it symbolises the growing up of Takahina. Without further ado... I'll start with the 5th...




Not a person, but more of like, the whole band.

The number 5th "persons" to make an influence on Takahina's life this year will be EvE, my current ongoing band.


See i even have a contract ongoing with them...



How they influenced me this year is obvious... ever since the defunct Le Foret, 3 Jiao Mao, The Unknown, EvE is the next major band Takahina goes for, and it seems this band is here to stay. Always with the new added member, Benjamin Seet Chong En in, it seems this band will only grow stronger.

Takahina jammed with this jam for around 6 month now I guess, with a few of the months Takahina gone in Australia for the NS trip. Throughout this half a year, the regular jamming every saturday or friday night proves to be one of the activity Takahina looks forward to every weekend out from camp. Frankly if there isn't any EvE, Takahina will feel.. empty on weekends.

In the past there is still Jimmy and Music Clef to make me busy on Saturdays, now there is EvE. And indeed, I do feel my drumming techniques getting better, and my knowledge of timing, strokes, drum instruments and the band's chemistry undoubtedly improves with each jamming. If I were to resume my lesson and Jimmy wants me to play something, I guess he'll be surprised that my drum techniques improved instead of failing. The only falter I'll have will most likely be my timing, which I'm trying very hard to improve on. I'm just lacking a complete drumset before I'll term myself an actual drummer.

Frankie's the wacky "wawawawawawa" person who never fails to make people laugh. And he is the booker. He books the studios.

Marco's the silent killer who is normally quiet and cheerful, but can shoot people with an instant overkill, Yi Zhen Jian Xue (1 needle see blood) :p Oh... do you know he raps as well as do all those guai guai vocals u can here in any songs.

Rhea's the cute cute jie jie who provides the feminine touch to the band, if not it'll be overrun. Also the next possible person in the group who could come up with a whole original. Takahina knows nothing bout chords and notes and stuff... so don't think he'll be able to do so.

Ivor's the supposedly leader who craps around with every meeting and jamming. We normally will wait like 5 10 mins waiting for him to prepare his stuff + waiting for him to choose a song to jam. His pedals collection somewhat scares me.

And Benjamin is my old friend whom I've jammed alot of times with. We braved through The Unknown Era, and now he has joined me in the EvE era. His diligence with the guitar is encouraging ^^

And not forgetting Lily, Ivor's Gf and the band's manager. She handles the finance and records the song and goes for every jamming. I'm seriously impressed ^^

And Lastly Takahina.

That is EvE for you. There are number 5 in the countdown, cause if without them, Takahina will feel so empty in life.


Now, number 4.



My Grandpa.

He passed away while I'm in Taiwan undergoing my NS training. When I almost finished my training, I was then informed on his status and rushed back to Singapore, missing my R & R in Taiwan.

He lived a lavish life in the past from my Father's account, rich and a little influential due to his father's wealth of a rubber plantation. But grandpa seemed to have squandered majority of the money away. For the last few years of his life, my grandpa entered hospital in and out for various problems like falling down, his iliing leg, his diabetes, heart problems etc etc. But at those times, at least he still went back to his Paya Lebar home which is now gone due to construction of the Circle Line. Soon after, a fall made him somewhat stuck to his chair and bed and he was officially hospitalised and sent to a nursing home. We changed nursing home several times for him, due to fees and location. Similarily, my grandma changed several homes. Firstly to Bedok which was subsidised by the Singapore government, this was due to the eviction of the house in Paya Lebar demanded by LTA. After that, they changed to the current house in Eunos and settled in.

Grandpa on the other hand, never entered any of his 2 new homes.

After years of struggling, he finally fell to old age. At least it was a peaceful one.

As i mentioned before once in this blog, he once said that...

"You're my beloved grandson..."

That was during one of the earlier years when he just got hospitalised. His other grandsons, never really visited him from what I noticed, and I can't blame them. You enter the nursing home, all of the surrounding is old people, (some having slight mental problems) and Yeye (how i affectionately call him) will always be sitting in his Chai Chee Educare Nursing home, looking into nothingness. You ask him questions, he will not be able to speak properly. It's like his brain has degraded to the stages of an infant.

I heard he held on while I was rushing back to Singapore, his pulse and breath rate still remain as an alive person, until when I rushed back to Singapore on the way to the hospital, my mother called to tell me of some bad news. In the end, I almost made it... but I didn't. That strive of minutes loss resulted in one of my most helpless regrets in life. I could still see his face and feel his warmth when I reached, but that was a forced breathing imposed by the machines.

I still remembered I was cleaning weapon and the next day is a topo exercise. When the news of his near death came, I burst into tears while trying to tell my instructors of the news and my wish to be back in SG.

It's not that I wasn't mentally prepared, I somehow had this premonition of him not being able to survive while I'm in Taiwan, and one of my greatest worries while I was in Taiwan was him. You could hear me calling home constantly, trying to see if there was any problems at home, particularly him. And Takahina is right.

His funeral is one of the biggest funeral I've seen. It last for 5 days and has many types of rituals which I hadn't seen before. It also has models of dragons and many others. It was almost like a show of my grandpa's trip into the netherlands and how the priest and us pray for him and plead for his safety through the lands and be safely reincarnated. One most significant was this sand model of a twin serpent made out, and some stuns being done out like igniting fire and mini explosions. We even ran with the priest and jumped over the dragons as part of the ritual. It was quite interesting actually.

The mood wasn't too tense or sad in the funeral, it was more of like a learning session for me. Many thanks to Jun Rong, Priscilla and Tian Wei for coming over to pay their condolescents. Takahina also saw quite a few actor and actress such as Tay Ping Hui, Joanne Peh and Felicia Chin thanks to my director uncle. I even bought kopi kao for Tay Ping Hui and Snake Grass Water for Joanne Peh. They were quite sweet really. Takahina was too shy to look at them straight in the eye though, but I can tell Joanne Peh is really beautiful. :p

The crementorium session is a very quiet one. Not much people came. The main family, my family and 2 of my uncles, some relatives and friends. The "sending" moment was a solemn one. Few of us cried, the guys remained tough while some of the girls shed tears. It wasn't the usual crying and breaking down scene you see at most funerals. My grandpa wasn't too popular with us for somewhat obvious reasons.

My grandpa's is number 4 in the countdown, cause his death made an impact in Takahina's outlook on life and death. It made an everlasting impression on family ties, my grandpa is not good in this genre and has made many mistakes as a father. Takahina doesn't want to follow in his footsteps. Takahina has believed in that the number of people who shed tears for you in a funeral shows of your acheivement and result slip of your life. In my opinion, my grandpa failed it, even though I loved him. I will not fail the life's test, never.

Also, his last few years and the many days I see him in hospital and nursing homes, it made me see the fragile strings which connect family ties in the current world. It gave me the many ideas in Euthanisia. Do I support it now? Takahina has always supported euthanisia, and now Yeye's death further solidifies it.

The "Curious about woman in love" Takahina

Truth to be told, Takahina lately has been observing very long about someone in love.
A girl to be precise.

And I've observed quite a few things really. No offense to any ladies cause I understand...

Love makes a person go gaga. Not a radio, not gatsby, not this Takuya Kimura...

Anyways, 1 of this girls I know, she's quite persistent actually in her relationship. And also, quite desperate in showing her "love" to her boyfriend. Always messaging him, asking whether his home or not and stuff. This is case 1: The Gaga Girls.

Somehow, these types of girls, are quite easily cheated as I'll say. In that case 1 is too easily "obtained" by the guys. The way the girlfriend feels in how she should keep her boyfriend, is through the obessesive diarrhoea of love and concern she shows. And most often, that is the thing which makes a rather loyal boyfriend to be irritated to the extent he gives up.

Not saying this type of girls are bad, but the way they handle their boyfriend is bad. In fact, I pity for these girls, normally they are the ones who suffer the most in a breakup, because they are the one who vomit out the most love they can manage. And normally, they aren't the one who wants the break up.

The stereotype of these girls are what people call the Chao Ah Lian, but it's more compulsed than that. Frankly, it's just cause of them that they give girls such a bad name. And I guarantee you guys, you never want to get such a girlfriend. Cause these girls know how it is to be in the game, but in a wrong way. They know how to get what they want through guys and most of the time the guys don't mind too much of it. However, in exchange these girls also give away their innocence and transform into the girls your mother won't want to have as a daughter in law.

Guys can't help but have a second look at them, normal girls can't help but scorn at them. They are almost the opposite of the Gaga girls. They are not Gaga, they make man go Gaga. Well, not all guys. Some guys looking for a more serious relationship on the other hand will be repulsed by their loose behaviour. Just think of them as a walking one night stand which you need to slowly develop out. An expensive one.

And the world is not enough. And don't think they exist only as the teenagers angst with short skirt and stuff. But office politics, celebrity business and many more ways. The Seduction uses their looks for their own personal gain or maybe career. The personal clerk, for example. Or the voluptous female who rises in ranks as if gravity doesn't affect them. As long as they can get what they want, their body/looks/assets, anything which can let them have their wanted stuff is expendable.

Some woman, in this world look in love as a secondary neccesity. They crave freedom, power and attention. These type of women, are the career based type: Miss Busy.

Normally powerful in their career and very much able to support themselves, these types of ladies normally have boyfriend only for 1 purpose. Their attention and their rule over them. Boyfriends to them, exist for the purpose of showing off and the many other small perks that comes along. Such as the occasion sex drive the female hormones produce and they need someone to solve it so that they can concentrate more on their work. Or the extra person to chauffeur them around when they need to.

They are not afraid of not having any boyfriends, but more of scared of time. This reason is simple. They need to grab hold a guy while they can still concentrate on their career, so their future at least will not look bleak.

Yes, the guy is an investment.

It's not to say that the female doesn't love the guy. She loves him for the correct and wrong purpose. Miss Busy loves his attention, loves his concern and thoughts. Often the time that happens, she has aged, her boyfriend grabbing assets have degraded to pentium 1. So she needs to use something else, she has to design an asset. Loyalty.

The Hypocritic Takahina

I never told there would be a day I'll call myself a hypocrate...

But I guess I have turned into one...

I actually went against my own principles and did something which I shouldn't have done but that is already done.

No I did not rape anyone.

Hmmm, but anyway other than that... lets enter into another topic.

Lately Tian Wei and me has been discussing things about our future. Not the human mankind type of future but yeah, the more micro-type of the subject related. Literally our own future. I'm not too sure why, but ever since I've read his book "Rich Dad Poor Dad", I can't help but think it through and reflected on my own actions.

My original purpose of future is of such:

-Study now for university, but never study in the prominent market demand high subjects. Study subjects which you like such as Japanese culture, Psychology, Economics, Game designing etc etc, (When I say game designing, I don't mean using the computer and create super woot graphics, more rather I wanna write on the gameplots, create the battle system or such... u get what I mean)

-Never stop pursuing your interest, such as Hentai Otakuism, drumming, DDRing, writing my own fantasy story. But never let it go to the extend it'll interfere with your human life. Sad to say among all the hobbies I am interested in, only drumming won't let me get the "wtf" look from people. Imagine me having DDR as a career.

"Yo Takahina, what do you work as?"

"Oh I dance DDR."

"You wat?"

"I dance DDR."

"Ok Dude, you suck."

Then there goes a good opportunity to get a another person to my funeral when I die man...

-Get a girlfriend who is equally interested with me on one of the interest I have.

-Work in a job which I'm happy in, never choose money or position over my interest. So to say I'm working as a economy adviser, then I get a preposition to fully license my novel or manga but I have to work full time for it. I'll do it even if the pay is sucky and there isn't much security into it. As long as I'm happy and as long as I'm still healthy.

-Get married with the mature and gorgeous girlfriend whom I have and have a healthy and satisfactory sexlife with frequent varieties. That can be easily arranged due to the experience of hentai I have. Have 1 girl 1 boy. Best for the age gap to not be too enormous. If not I have to work like extra longer to support the later birth.

-Retire happily with my wife, not ladened with the sad things in life. And finally have a peaceful death. If possible, I want to die first then my wife. Strange thinking I know... but I won't be able to stand the idea of my wife going first.

But now, thinking has somewhat changed.

-Study in university as the same things i mentioned above. BUT, that is not all. I want to study in investing and financial literacy as well.

-Never stop pursuing my interest, but this time don't invest that much money into it. Invest more money into my financial literacy and financial freedom instead.

-Get a girlfriend. Same point as above. BUTT, she must be financially sensible. Meaning, she don't lend money from me, knows that the boyfriend don't always have to pay for everything. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA,,,,,, But of course la, I'm not that kiam siap.

-Work in a job, naturally as something I like. However, it won't be long term. Eventually once I get sufficient, I'll start off my own business system. Not self employed but a business. Then begin in investing. If not I may go from employed to investing and eventually to being totally an investor.

-Get married, after I'm financially secured.

The rest need not be mentioned.

So you can see, somehow my outlook on my life especially financially has changed a lot. I used to believe I didn't care about business, I just like to do thing the unorthodox way, meaning I don't like to take the popular route like going for business or doctor. Unless the popular route is a route I like, if not you won't expect to see me there.

But now I feel differently. I prefer to get exposed to more things now. Priscilla asked me to take Yoga once, something which I had no interest in the past, but after reading the Rich dad Poor Dad which said something, "We must not learn to work, but work to learn" In other words, it's never bad to go for anything to learn anything, even if it's a negative experience. In the end I don't mind going and asked her for a time in the week long free trial. BUT, she said,

"Don't want la... nerve wrecking to do Yoga there when you're watching."

Who knows what she means man. I can spray Yoga Fire and Yoga Flame and Yoga teleport around Singapore :p

Haha, ok joking la.

But regarding the Rich Dad Poor Dad, that is true.

I must say, this book had quite an impressive effect on me mentally.

If you see me talking bout financial shit or some other weird weird stuff most guys my age won't talk about, you'll know where it came from. For now, though... I'm still in the developing process.

The Adult Takahina: Time pass by...

All of a sudden... it has been around I guess half a year I haven't updated this blog... and for around 1 year full I haven't been really regularly updated this blog.

Well, should I push that to NS, or is it because of my own laziness. Don't really know. But to say NS changed my life within this year, in terms of behaviour, and my current social circle. Gone are the usual shit of classmates, but instead... constantly changing environment as I go to one posting to another and now, finally settling down in my operational unit.

I guess I can say, it's time.

Partly also it's because my cousin who lately has moved in along with aunt and her sister, she views blog regularly at night hours more scary than me. I kinda just got...

Remember I said something about Guan Ying Ma in my Hainan Island trip which was about a year, and that my HP camera cocked up in it's pics? Well... That didn't happen to be the only camera available obviously... I awaken the prowess of Nan Hai Guan Ying.





Then of course, there is my faltering music career with EvE. Let me intro them for once...

The one of the most left is my vocalist, the professionally talented keyboardist turned vocalist with her faithful chinese love songs, Rhea. She has an original named 1234567 leh. We tried to made it original, but it was impossible.

The one on my right side, is my guitarist, Mr Ivor. He carries with him a coffin of... pedals. And he usually competes with my bassist Frankie who keeps their things first.

Then there is a newly added in keyboardist whose face is too young to be in the picture. Actually it's only because he joined in after he see how good my band were in the performance, he felt my band needed a keyboardist to be able to make it, if not EvE will be cannot make it.

Then of course there is Takahina. Shame on you if you can't recognize where he is.



And Singapore's very own model on Wheel of Fortune who turned MP, Miss Eunice Olsen is one of our backup vocalist!! OH YEAH! Just look at the whole list of back up we have, 3 girls 1 guy. Rhea is always stressed because of this.

Ok la. EvE just contains 5 members. The rest are? History. Eunice Olsen mainly because she still prefered Lee Kuan Yew to Takahina, and the rest met better man than Takahina. Yes, including the guy. Surprisingly, after I joined NS, I became more gay...

And then of course... there is my current true career.

Yo everyone... long time no blog eh... got miss Takahina or not?

Hmmmm, ever since the last blog I guess it's bout a semester? Takahina is about to end his Tekong trips and sispec trips and is starting to grow a bit of hair. Although more and more people say Takahina should keep his hair short, but his current length which requires little shampoo or no shampoo at all to maintain is all but too unbearable.

Also, Takahina is 19 now. Not a too significant age like 18 or 21, but still it's a year older.

Hmmm, as promised, I'll get the new photos in...

You guys remember i said I'll put in pics of the Hainan Island trip i had last year? Well... thanks to my memory card, only like a fraction of the photos i took is still available. Anyways, here are the photos i can savage...




Yes, just 1 photo of the farm land scenary in Hainan Island, the other photos... all gone... quite sad too. I took quite a number of the super sized Guan Ying Ma pics, was hoping it can bless and give mercy to this blog for all the Karma it could have caused... Guess it's gone now. 1 superb recommendation is you look at this photo while listening to one of Takako sama's more country type of songs... You would suddenly feel that Singapore should have remained rural.

Then also, in case you guys didn't know Takahina just recently performed a gig last weekend. Didn't really bother to get the photos of all the cosplay girls and guys and bands, cause I know other people will do it for me. But I did get a photo of someone... someone who has relatively long hair and dressed up for the event! Oh yeah!! Some hot babe in Gothic Lolita!!

So maybe Takahina would create another blog? I don't know. NS is currently taking out a lot of time. Also, someone mentioned that Takahina is now less emo compared to his JC days. Don't know why, cause by right I should be more emo now. Being less emo is a detribute to his ever insulting and hypocritical post in TTT and that will greatly affect the emo fans of his blog.

So being like a fugitive now, Takahina will once again abandon this blog and return in another shelter of his.

Actually by right I should have posted the previous time I booked out la, but I had quite a few things to be settled, and the bed at home and civilian environment is indeed so much more better than the fucked up life you have in camps and bunks. Fancy getting punished for having a little spec of dust on your window. My mother don't even give a fuck bout that man.

And yes, Takahina has gotten more vulgar thanks to the training to being elite bengs. Vocabulary didn't neccesary increase, but then the rate and daring possibility of Takahina specking shit out has increased.

It was a little... stylish. It was like looped sided to a side, and had this distinct show as if someone had accidentally sliced off a good part of Takahina's hair on one side or Takahina only shampooed his hair on 1 side and totally ignored the other side.

Then soon enough, his hair grew to a good length... and after several modifications in it became this...



Hur hur... Due to his great hair, Takahina grew so amazingly popular with girls he felt amazingly bored and sleepy cause he's starting to turn gay, and thus so he almost slept when he took this picture.

The Reviewing Takahina 2

Yo... Takahina is officially back from Hainan island for like few days already, now he's like getting mentally siao siao from NS and also to adapt back to the Singapore lifestyle which he hates and yet is so used to.

Takahina realised one thing, if you ask him to do farming, sleep early, wake early... all those type of shit. I can't.

I'm not old enough.

Ok, although I promised you guys elephants of pictures, BUTT, some fucking thing has happened to the mini SD i used in storing my pictures, I can't extract them out to my computer cause my computer would just jam upon the show of the picture. Onishinobi said that the memory card or the pics are corrupted, I wonder wat bribery did they receive...

Anyways, quite a few shit happened, 1 of the shit is Takahina gained a fucking 4extra kgs which I still don't dare to tell my parents. I promised myself upon coming back...

Somehow i'm starting to like the concept of NS. Money and free weight losing program over the tradeoff of Takahina's pride.

Also, yesterday Takahina went to this small gig of a new studio opening, Benji's band is in it. Takahina wasn't really that gung ho on going, until he heard a news from Frankie, his current band's bassist and ex-Rustynails bassist.

The "Holidaying" Takahina 2

Later tonight at 3am, Takahina will wake up and go for his long awaited overseas trip.

So, no blog post today. But it will be recompensated with tons of photos from the trip, depending on whether my handphone camera or digital camera can last out.

Also, due to this trip, Takahina will have to forfeit the trip to the prom. I'll elaborate.

At first the trip was scheduled to be yesterday, and said to return by 29th Dec, which is accurately my prom day.

However, don't know what the hell happened to the tour agency and hotel, it seems they just gave away our bookings to a group of VIPs without our consent. The agency, bo pian have to postpone our dates to later tonight.

And Takahina is feeling prolly fucked up because of the hotel's sibei chao cheebye's arrangement.

So how now?

I can't go to the prom. That is confirmed. Also don't know how to tell the rest of the class especially Sam, Hui Ling and Junwei since they all been like shit over the sittings.

But nvm.

The Failure Takahina

For those who didn't go to the performance.

Be glad you guys didn't went.

Cause Takahina threw away his own face.

On the day itself, my cousin, Peng Yuan and his few friends, Sam Younha and Rurouni (cept Benji) came to my performance. Sam and Peng Yuan came early, so i'm quite greatful to them. I heard from Onishinobi/Ben on why they are late, so won't blame you guys.

Anyways, when the thing happened... quite a lot of shit happened.

Firstly,

When we were rehearsing few minutes before the actual performance, suddenly had this forebearing of something bad. The rehearsal was frankly, rubbish compared to our previous rehearsal. Timing was always off, and we seem to be in a... "WTF???" mode. Not just Takahina, but TW and Fredrick i think were starting to feel the pressure. Then as usual, Takahina being named the "lao da" of the group... felt...

omfg.

Anyways, when we came down, met up with Jimmy and a few others. Trying to compose ourselves but didn't seem to work anyways. Bowie was a great support though, great thanks to him for giving us some guidance in the whole matter.

When we started, something seemed wrong. For some reason, Takahina was confused, especially over the timing. When the beat went on, Takahina felt wtf oredi. I kept looking at fred and tw, trying my best to coordinate. But it came too fast and it was turn for Takahina to solo.

And that's when it all went wrong.

When i started my solo, my mind somehow went blank like "wtf???", then i was freaking out oredi, from a triplets become a dunno what fucking beat. Then i went, "OK FUCK, ANYHOW WHACK LIAO CB!!"

Time instantly went off. So fucking off.

And from there onwards, our timing has never gone more wrong than ever.

I am, so so... ashamed of myself.

When TW's solo (the last solo) started, Takahina has already begun shaking his head. Like last year when i unconsciously spinned my sticks, this time i unconsciously shook my head.

It's like there is a chain reaction of something i dunno why man. When the band is doing good, Takahina enjoys it and can do alot of fucking stuff. When the band is doing bad, Takahina will be like wtf and act like those music judges, shake head la... sigh la... fret la..

I FUCKING HATE MYSELF OVER THIS MAN REALLY!!

And the worse thing is i caused the whole thing myself, ME!! YES THE LAO DA ME!!!!! FUCKING ME!!!!!!

Then i tried to lift my spirits, don't seem to work. Even with Rong's idiocry, TW's speak from experience, Onishinobi's nonchalent, Ben's wtf mode, Sam's YOUNHA CRY, and Peng's "you're still a student la."....

I feel.

WTf.

Frankly to speak, this time almost made me wanna quit drumming yesterday when I got home, so what if i can own people with my naga siren? So what if my Orge Magi's multicast is like a 50% rate? SO WHAT?! IT'S NOT LIKE IT CAN BRING BACK TAKAHINA'S REPUTATION!!!

Takahina is so dumb, he took half their faces. See la, what other failures can you find even resembling Takahina's standard?? Anyway, Bowie's the one on the drums, he has a metronome in his ears actually, and he's counting the song throughout. You can see his mouth like chanting. No, he's not sprouting vulgar. And he has been to Berklee before.

What about Takahina? He don't even know how to buy a metronome.

The once again performing Takahina

You guys still remember last year? When Takahina participated in a performance of drum ensemble at Suntec City while working at the same time?

Hmmm, never mind. I think you guys forgetten about it. After all, the few people who went, one of them is Semi Automated Machine whose birthday lies on 11.11, the whole gang of Rurouni including the half member Korean and Priscilla and her friend whom i have no knowledge of. Then Stella pang seh me, Junwei the noob pang seh me, Des Chan pang sai me.

The rest i didn't inform cause I felt you guys were not worthy.

Hehehehehehehehehe...ok kidding.

Anyways, this time Takahina will once again be performing in another drum ensemble at Suntec due to the coercion by Music Clef, and yesterday Takahina went to rehearse at Music Clef due to sheer force from the principal there.

Argh.

But then at least finally finished all the procedure and all were happy. Even though we were extremely reluctant when we went there cause they just last minute called us to chiong there... nnbcb.

Regardless, Takahina will have his... 4th performance in his life regarding drums on the 19th November 2006 at Suntec. Timing unknown, but should be around afternoon time once again.

And i doubt I'll be standing there guarding guitars like last time. I dun mind working, but i mind standing for hours like fuck. And when people ask me "how many chord does this guitar have", there was once i said, 12 just because that guitar was a double lined guitar, so 6x2 = 12.

Then also, people often ask.

Anyways tomorrow there is a physics paper, Takahina is looking forward to be fucked at, and thus so will stop now.

The Studying Takahina

Well, the A's have approached, and Takahina is in the midst of it. And Takahina knows, not only are there just the A's but O's is arriving as well. My dear drum buddy Fredrick has been complaining about it to me all the time and I hear many unknown punksters trying to ask the DJs on radios studying tips.

So today Takahina will be nice for once and write on how to study properly. And also, let Takahina just write down how he studies. (Frankly, it's cause I have no linggan so I'll just spam what I've already written down somewhere. YEs, i do have a book with all my laws in... and it's still increasing.)


Firstly... let Takahina just write down how he studies and for the first time, "The Law of free days." and "The Law of work days.".

The law of free days: Days when no form of events or occasion is planned except meal.

- From before 1pm, it will be under 'free time.'
- From 1pm - 5pm, it will be under 'prioritised work.' (will explain what is prioritised work')
- From 5pm - 9pm, it will be under 'free time.'
- From 9pm - 2am, it will be under 'prioritised work.'
- After a piece of prioritised work is done, perform 'law of activities.' for 30mins or 1 episode of Anime.(will explain)
- If event fall under prioritised work time, that time is cancelled.
- If user retires early, time for 'prioritised work' is pushed back to a 'free time'.

--> Prioritised work

- Involves doing a piece of assignment/work/paper. Example (A GP paper 1. 1 topical chapter in the TYS, etc...)

--> Law of activities

1. RPG on PS2
2. Fighting Games on PS2
3. Anime
4. Action RPG on PS2
5. Computer Games.

Performing each task in sequence, the law can be further elaborated, but due to viewer's possible objection and censorship, Takahina shall not divulge further.

The law of work day: When there are events happening in a day...(going to school..)

- Sleep at least 5 hours before arranged prepared time for work.
- After an event of work, 30mins of activity ensured.
- Any other free time, change it to prioritised time. In between work event to priortised time, +- 1hr preparation.
- Rest only allowed for at most 2hrs per day.

Well, even if you guys don't understand it, don't really try to follow it. I doubt you people can tahan. Either you feel too guilty at times cause the law enables you to not study, if not you study too much you wanna die.

Anyways, enough bout how Takahina study, but then let Takahina give some mainstream advice.

1.

Don't try to spam studying and doing la. It's mad. No human limit can tahan that kinda shit. In the end you're not studying anything, you're just being a machine and specialise in that type of question. If the si ang mohs at Cambridge just switch a little and shoot you. You guys will die get it?

And also, spamming to study, will just easily make you burn out, meaning you will have no fucking mood to study and will tio petrify.

So, to spam study is the most dumb dumb form to study.

2.

Don't only read lecture notes or textbooks. This will not be enough. Only do such things right before the exam starts, like maybe the night before. Believe Takahina, he did it before and his physics is almost the equal of Samuel in maths. It just sucks. You think you know all the theory behind it. But then NOOOOOOOO...... why? Cause the way the questions is spammed, your theory won't give a shit to solving it.

And really, even if you bring in a formula sheet and try to staple it to the back of your answer sheet during answers, you can't do any shit cause you don't know what to sub into what. Damn humiliating man.

3.

This is one of Takahina's greatest problem. Takahina always gets stuck when he thinks he has done a question correctly, then the answer at the back is wrong. Then he will like petrify himself to the extent it just waste a whole hour. Damn dumb. Then when he wanna ask teachers the question, there will be a whole horde of people trying to grab the teacher. The shy Takahina won't dare to ask liao.

Haiz...

Really, just circle the question. And pray god/buddha/shiva/tripitaka/ will help you solve it if you're shy. If not, just kill those competitors and gain the teacher's attention ALL to yourself.
