The Gigging Takahina

Long time no blog fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.........

Yeah, as u see, Takahina lately has been unusually addicted to something, and that is Hard Gay san... okaaayy.... Just to let you all have a witness...





Well, the subtitled ones are by Stupid Fish, and it's not too bad a translated piece of work also. Yeah.... Okaayyy...

But let's get away from that yeah?

On Vesak Day, which is 2 days before I'm blogging right now, Takahina performed in a Cafe Bar?? That place sells coffee and stuff, and also sells alcohol. Okaaayyy. Then song song is that it has a jamming studio on the second floor, a toilet whereby it's a room with urinal and a cubicle for shitting, and you can lock that room.

So to mean, Just one guy wanna urine, he can lock away the door to prevent other people from coming in just because he wants to use 1 urinal. Sui man!!!!!!!

Then hor, if you are considerate, like Junrong is, u can go and open door big big while u urine, then everyone can see. That is if they wanna see lah. SONG BO!!!

Anyway, that day was kinda weird.

On that day, I only invited Rurouni over cause I know they have possible interest in the type of music being played. Then since people entering have to pay, I didn't wanna trouble others too much lah hor.

My band reached there first, even though we're the last band. Fucked up. Make us look like sibei kiasu and very xiao pai like that. Next time must act Dai Pai, arrive late and bui song face all over. They won't dare kao pei with you one.

Anyways, soon after 2 other bands arrived and both the bands have a M initial. They seem very friendly with each other, or am I just mistaken. But then lah, they were sitting in another position while our band just sit in a corner. Hyde tried to greet them, but tio DAO. Sad. From then on, Takahina didn't really like them as human.

They may be good, but it doesn't mean we have to respect them humanly. I can respect them musically. Yes.

Den, we waited for a fairly long time. Waited for Rurouni to appear without Ben. Kinda expected, if Ben come oso pai seh. Cause need to pay $$ ar. Desmond Chan said his friends dun wanna come. Ok lah, if they come Takahina oso dunno how to handle. Don't ever expect me to like go there and say..

"Eh, friends of Desmond Chan! Thanks for coming to pay us money ar!"

Cause u see ar, this Gig is almost like, earning the money of your friends. Whatever entrance fee earned will be given back to us in terms of transfer payment. Pai Seh mah like that, Takahina may be thick faced, but not to the extent of begging friends to give u money.

Eventually, alot of people started to turn up. Including a lot of Cosplayers. Belted dress, high stockings, metal chain... YIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
But then hor, Takahina is too shy to talk to them ar... even though they are Nika's friend lah, but then... haiz......... I found a few quite attractive also... haiz...... Never talk to them.... wasted.... haiz.....

Then anyway, the performance soon started. I shall give a low down on how I feel.

1st band: M something something.

Overall, this band was good, I don't sense anything bad, and it's good music overall. Visual performance wise was good as well, not disorganised, not messy. And drummer isn't too bad as well. Timing well kept. I like them. Vocals gave tired I guessed around half time, he went a little zao sia.

However, Rong and someone else didn't like them too much. And throughout talking about them. In valid though I feel.

Rate: 4/5 for a local band standard.


2nd Band: Also M something something.

I missed their first music cause my vox told me to go get a drink. WTF. NVM, I earn tax from you, earn another bottle of water. Yeah.... But when I came back, they were playing music which I LIKED!

Firstly, Driver's High. Yeah, all anime fans. This is the opening theme of GTO. GREAT TAKAHINA ORGASM!!!!!!!! However, after hearing it a while. I kinda changed mood. Most of the members are ok and on time. But something went terribly wrong.

The drummer.

Hohohoho, Drummer san... even though u around same size as me... big big fat fat, Don't think I give u chance ar. Cause i heard the music alot of times before, I can easily remember the drum beats of the song. Mistakes done frequently and possibly the drummer is unconfident? He looks tense man. Then also the main drum set keeps on shifting in front. Hohohohoh, pedal too hard ar uncle. Then also timing is off. If the drums are good, I tell u this will be one of the band I like alot, mainly cause they play music I like man.

Then after that, they play Rurouni Kenshin's 1/3 Junjou na Kanjou. Hohohohoho... U're in trouble drummer san... CAUSE TAKAHINA BELONGS TO THE RUROUNI GROUP, DO YOU THINK I WON'T KNOW THE SONG??? HOHOOOHOHOHOHOHO.... Once again, the problem lies with the drummer with timing and mistakes apparent. He also bastardised the fills and rhythmes a little, but that's ok cause Takahina does that too.

After that, they went on to play 2 other songs which Takahina had little knowledge of. Didn't sound too bad, but drums still has problems.

Rate: 3/5 thanks to the last 2 songs which pulled up your points. If not the drummer could cause a fail.


Next band: REI

Well, the most VK band. Everyone has face powdered and the drummer looks like some black african getting sold to US. Cool.

Overall, they did a total of 8 songs, 6 original, 2 covers. Le foret was happy. Why?
Cause we can slack more and waste more time. And their last song was awfully long. Wow.

Anyway, nothing much to say. Compared, I still prefer the first band. Also, drummer san of Rei. I don't feel a double bass is needed. Instead it messes up the whole timing at times. Consider that k.

Rate: 3.5/5 for the participation in originals.


Last Band: Le Foret


One instead comment from the start by Vox san, 1 hit KO the image of the band.

"Hi, We're Le foret, We're new, so don't expect too much from us."

WAH..... GG!!! WHAT DID TAKAHINA PRACTICE SO LONG FOR SIA!!! Anyway, we began.

First song... sucks imo. VOX timing went off. I Can't hear the bass and guitars

Second song... sucks imo. VOX didn't sing around half time cause off time. Bass complained drummer is too slow. I agree... maybe.

Third song... sucks imo. Don't know why it sucks. But my self opinion is very low liao by this time. And also I hate this song more and more.

Fourth song... sucks imo. Because there was no splash cymbal there and overall Takahina did a bad job of producing the wanted effect during jamming.

Hai. Ok, I'll produce the report lah.

Throughout the whole gig, I can't hear anybody at all. ESP the bass, can't hear. Why? No feedback. Even if there is, I can only hear echo due to sound waves bouncing off the walls at the back. U can't hear them, naturally timing confirm off.

Secondly, the arrangement of the band is messed up. Vocalist have lots of space, guitars and bass are stuck together. Like Acapalla like CH said. Why is that so? Wires are too damn short to move around at all man! All looks like entangled shit.



This scene reminds me of 2 things.

1, during Takako concert whereby the 3 on the right are accompany singers, Takako at center, acoustic guitar at left.

2, Opera. Paparotti at left, ballet dancer at center, accompanying high pitchers at right.

Great stuff man, this shall be the style of Le Foret.

At the end of the whole thing, Takahina heard 2 sides of reviews. But because it's too long, Takahina will summer the whole shit.

First, from his friends.

Throughout the whole thing, guitar are messy, Vox never sing and too visual. Bass maybe too soft. Drum has slight mistakes, but overall ok.

Second, from someone in Lucify from Defense of the Ancient.

Rhythm section has problem. Bass and drums never coordinate well. No comments on guitar, vox has great potential and rooms for improvement.

WTF, why is there such a big contrast in the terms of comments?

My confidence which was supposedly quite ok, fallen to a great depth after the whole thing. In the end, Takahina could be the one with the mistake after all.

Flattery fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then also, Takahina doesn't know or hear any comments in drums at all. Frankly and admittedly, Rong and Benji are not assumed experts in drums. I don't know bout that ga.... no, guy from lucify, but then in the end, Takahina is freaking confused man.

Hyde said it's ok for a virgin band. But then, it's cheebye. In Takahina's opinion...

"Never act like a virgin. Even if you're really a virgin, the performance must be experienced."

In the end, I don't like our end performance. I see CH, Benji and Rong's face after the whole thing. Their face not really happy. I instantly mentally say,

"SIAO LIAO CBBBBB FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!"

But then in the end, each band receives $105, so Takahina got $21.

However, ytd when Takahina went to drum lesson, his drumstick finally broke.

Trip to find a good drumstick = $1
Average price for a desired pair of drumstick = $15
Treating Rurouni to drinks = $5
Broken heart due to good friend Promark 7A drumstick spoilt = Priceless

So, in the end. $21 all gone. CAN'T EVEN BUY A CD!!!

Anyway, before the gig began, Takahina was requested a produce a photo for Lime due to DJ party.

The PAPing Takahina

Oh man... this is dangerous. But whatever lah hor.

Lately, Singapore is having a GE. Who doesn't know, but whatever. Just now, while i was having dinner, I heard this truck sprouting some malays gibberish which Takahina doesn't want to fucking understand. On it, sits the pictures of the tampines gang. Mah Bow Tan, Irene Ang, and 3 other people whom I have no knowledge of.

People in background: Haiz... the sadness of our youths in Singapore...

All i know is that, one of them is malay. And he's not Mr Yatiman Yusof, the guy who gave me $$ twice in a row on 2 years whereby i got some edusave shit. I remember calling him Antiman Yousoft. I stil remember there was a year when I sat on the hall, there was this sibei chio girl sitting beside me. And since she got edusave, she must be almost as clever as Takahina. Yeah!!!

I tried to initiate conversation with her, but then hor. Can't speak. Tongue Tied.

Cheebye.

So throughout the whole speech whereby softman is speaking, I just opened my mouth, glance at her, then look back, then look again. Hecking care of softman. After all, he's responsible to Takahina is just to give me my lui, the rest i dun fucking care. And if Takahina can get lui and za bor at the same time, God must be helping me. Yeah. Love you god.

But then, I can't speak anything. So in the end, nothing happened, all i have was just cramps at my mouth, fucking pain. Haiz, I'll stick with my Tripitaka.


Ok, back to topic. As my father once worked in a gov firm, he knew some of this people and had meeting with them at times. There was once when he was having a party of what with this people, then one of my father's friend, Ah Low, spotted Mr Mah Bow Tan.

Acting friendly, he readied himself while Uncle Mah walked over to greet everyone. My father was first, so he said, "Good morning, Mr Mah."

Ah Low seemed nervous.

Anyway, this evening after hearing that malay gibberish, soon enough Takahina heard the speech in Hokkien. Yeah, that's more like it. Hokkien is vulgar and fun. Also, the speaker is sprouting a girl's voice. Must be Auntie Ang.

Takahina and family ignored it, my father was just complaining of the fish being too salty in front of him. However, soon enough, one of the Tampines Gang came to the kopitiam and acted like some big fuck, with this guy whose my father's friend as well, taking pics. Then there's this auntie, wearing mini-skirt. It looks so wrong. However, the center of the picture is this malay who replaced my antiman yousoft. That's bad, I liked Antiman cause he gave me lui.

Regardless, he went to the store owners first. Obviously lah, cause owners give him cooperate tax. Then he went to each table to greet. My feeling is like...

"Sia lah, big shot. dun give a fuck to us commoners."

Well, he didn't lah.

He went to each table, talk talk talk.

"Please give us your support."

I heard that, and almost said...

"Give me lui, then I consider."

But then i never. And also since Pa knows these uncle, they spent more time talking to us.

Hehehehehehehehe.... jealous ar... I tell u in future once this malay guy give me lui, i'll remember his name man. Then this guy gave somethign to my ma, and pa. And then he asked me.

Malay big shot: "Are you voting in the GE?"

But frankly, if you ask me, would I vote for the PAP, people close to me will know i'm almost an anti PAP. But then I read the fucking propagandic Straits Times, a.k.a PAP times, then it's indeed true that PAP has been good in their nation building. Jus t that working people like my father and mother feels very imbar about the whole situation.

Seems like I'm too immature to know what harm does PAP cause to the working society.

However, there is something very wrong with their statement lah.

The "whying" Takahina

Lately, especially this week, there have been 2 big issues that Takahina has been reading over through the tpjc forum. One is the 12x 100m run that Takahina was in and another is the talk through the Gospel of Judas forum. Yea, believe it or not, Takahina is actually debating through the forum.

And Takahina is not happy or convinced, Takahina wants to scold.

And frankly, I find it sibei fucked up. But well, let's start with the other more personal thing first lah.

Yeah, the 12x100m run. Why do I even bother in it? Firstly it was due to Samuel's talking that enlightened Takahina.

"Treat the run as priority first, cause you don't want to have nothing to remember about for your school."

Yeah, very true man. TPJC has been a sucky school, even though I like it for the slacking and distance. Frankly I think most JC school are dumb. People jumping off due to small dick, creating dumb terms like mugging and having the teachers actually properly following it. That is one of the few dumb and shitty stuff Takahina has encountered and vehemently hated. But it's precisely because of this purpose and for the class, Takahina wants to have at least some rememberance of it, and to tell Takahina that he does not regret the choice. Because regardlessly, it's still my school and that green sucky green tea uniform is still my uniform and $20+ dollars, and last of all, it's my class which I don't dislike at all.

However, it has now been shown that we have been disqualified, due to us not reporting accurately on time for the trial run. Shitty man. My class argues on the fact of biasity by teachers due to some lingering spirits. Frankly, Takahina doesn't care cause his enlightenment for "acheivements" for his class is redundant now.

But what Takahina cares about, is the show of unfairness, and unneccesary flamings or cheebye fucking from both classes.

People complained lah, said our fucking class should not be in cause we didn't get proper timing for trials. So accept it, we indeed did not report to time. However, the counter is that... our fucking timing to report, is already beyond the timing for registration for trials. So whose fault is this for not telling us?

Yeah. I don't care why but if it's already late, why don't u say so in the first place. Then the run we had is? FOR SHOW AR?

Ok, so if it's your mistake, do apologize or so. Cause you're the one, if not the WHOLE PE department is the one for not giving us accurate details and actually disqualifying us for no apparent reason. Is it because of us being late? Or is it because we have another class joining us? Or is it because you want the other class to get champion like Des Ong and Audric complained? Whatever.

But still, we want to know the reason why, we want more transparency. Please don't act like the fucking gahmen lah cheebye.

Den also lah hor, my classmates oso a little dumb. Des Ong you go and kao pei in the other class forum, quite dumb sia. You think u god people don't dare to defy you ar. No such fuck man, this is the conformity society whereby people go in groups which are safer. That's also why Pay And Pay can last till now man. Wanna complain, wanna whine, go to class forum and whine, it's safer there cause at least our class will whine with you. If not Audric will take a artic sniper and snipe that fucker to death, watever lah shit.

And also lah, the S29 is a little outragous. You're not invincible dude, and having your class forum on public, big fuck ar cheebye? Famous people? Judas? Jesus? Don't cheebye with me lah.

Anyway, another one which made Takahina pek chiek is the forum "Gospel of Judas".

And naturally you see a lot of shitty christians who don't at least bloody think a little about some facts, I also want to ask, did they even watch the documentary at all.

I may not be a christian, but I watched the show and sat there having my ass rot like pudge for 2 fucking hours. And i got chided by ing(T+L+Y) for not doing some econs shit.

I noted through most parts of the forum. And frankly, people who are actually behind my views are Adam and Benji and that is against the whole christian society in TPJC. GOD IS WITH THEM, cheebye lah nabei.

Let me just state a point which I share with Benji.

Jesus is Jesus, there is NO PROVE that he wrote the Bible, so whatever shit in there you cannot use bible to counter us! CAUSE THE BIBLE WAS NOT WROTE BY HIM, IT'S WROTE BY THE FUCKING CHURCH. We're looking into a more scientific view here, and faith. Faith wise, yes, Bible and Church and all others, all are your life. But scientifically, there is no prove at all.

In case you guys don't understand lah, since the bible was not written by him, how can u use bible to counter the arguments we have like "Jesus wanted to be kill by Judas."? The fact is that is an assumption made by the "Gospel of Judas" and that it's not verified at all, but it still remains a possiblity. Just that because that gospel was not included into the bible and so you can lame it like some shit? NO SHIT MAN.

Because in all, Bible itself is also just an "assumption." But it's the assumption made for the highest order for the church to follow.

But let me ask you guys, do you christians believe in Church or believe in God? Church are people who follow the "orders" of Jesus, but whatever they follow is also an assumption.

How was the 4 gospels chosen? Let me tell you how according to the documentary.

This priest, whom I don't know and don't care who, selected 4 gospels which are so-called the most famous or popular gospels during that time. There were many many other gospels to be chosen from, but he only chose 4. And that among the rejected Gospel, one of it is Gospel of Judas.

So get it? I won't question faith wise as that is touching onto the religious matter, but scientifically, it shows that Church/Bible does not = God.

And you ask me whether why I believe in that documentary and not the bible? Well, cause firstly I'm not Christian, secondly I'm just stating from what I believe myself to be a more reliable source. Give you an expert talking on National Geographic and another just a JC1 fucking brat speaking all on GoD and bible. Which would you choose? OBVIOUS RIGHT? Tamade lah I rather go hear a DoG bark rather than a brat preaching on college level.

And also, I want to question another thing.

Is it that, if we don't believe in God, we believe in Buddha, believe in Islam, believe in dead man confusian, we will go to hell?

You cursing us?

Ok maybe not. But somehow Takahina feels that is a little bigoted.

Argh.

I have no offence at all to Christians ar, just that please, don't just blindly follow whatever you're preached. Experts, other people whom I know believe in Christianity, they are not that extreme. They do pursue in uncovering and knowing more things scientifically, and properly access these information, however "satanic" or whatever. So why can't extremist do such? You can pursue such things and still believe in God, isn't that the most important thing? Your faith and trust?

Sia lah... how come I write until hor I sound like a Christian sia. I'm a Buddhist, and a not very commiteed one as well. I think I watch too much of this "moral" thingy and maybe too much "Journey to the West." The Japanese version one, quite cute oso the monk.

Why am i called Taka? Well mainly because Hyde said Takahina is too gay and Takahina feels so too. Makes people think it's a girl.

There was once when Takahina used the name Takahina to go to some stupid making friends website and I just used the pictures of Takako, my goddess as the display pic. Lo and Behold, hordes of guys or "sianners" whom I call it approach me. And the amount is frighteningly many. From there, Takahina decide to do an experiment.

I know i know, it's been some time since Takahina last blogged. Takahina is a fucked up idiot i know. I write sub standard stuff nowadays I know. Maybe Takahina should write shit like

There is one shit that Takahina doesn't appreciate, even though he tries to. That in mainstream media.

The fact is that due to mainstream music being more readily accepted, it doesn't mean that it's good, just that it's easily accepted. So to say, less mainstream music is not bad just cause it's less readily accepted. Get Takahina?

If people do not give indie music a chance, then they keep on listening to mainstream music, eventually your views and all will be overcrowded by the mainstream quality and it will be harder and harder to accept other streams of music. Like Takahina has never listened to hardcore music in the past. But thanks to Sephiroth and Steiner giving Takahina the chance, he has listened, and now he listens to it... albeit once in a while. It's not neccesary for one to compulsory like indie music, but just give it a try. Do not be extreme.

The time which I'm writing this, I have 2 information which I want to say.

Firstly, I have done and posted up my newest review, "The Adventures of Wisely". Note to all, the reviews in which Takahina has done is strictly done by myself with no referance to anything else whatsoever. Also, Takahina has the products/subjects that he did the review on. Thus so if anybody wants to lend or have a referance on this things, free feel to ask... even though Takahina will most likely say,

But of course, there are exceptions.

Secondly, Takahina wants to report that by the time I'm writing this, I would have turned 18 years old. Yes, it's my birthday. I remember Matsu Takako having a song on birthdays... Takahina is tired... Grrr. Did quite a number of things today so Takahina will not write anything intelluctual. So Takahina will write on various things which happened throughout the week. But so as to prevent anybody from knowing that Takahina is scolding them, Takahina shall write in form of codes. However... Takahina will give hints on who is who...

Monday:

Firstly, Lulu, the reflexes trainer, returned Takahina's battle report on Monday. Takahina chose the battle of the rampaging young prostitude who is furiously jamming the internet lines recently and inflirtrating young minds. As Takahina has long wanted to battle this young prostitude ever since he heard about her and in concern for the young ones in this good world, Takahina decided on it. However, Lulu didn't seem apleased with my battle results. In the end, Lulu's comment is...

"How would this article help in your knowledge of critical issues? Please challenge yourself and select more approperiate articles that will enlighten you and increase your knowledge of global issues."

Damn it. Obviously Lulu finds this young prostitude too simple a battle for Takahina and Lulu wants me to go look for more worthy battles in the global world. Maybe Lulu's right... but Takahina dislike it. After all, what right does someone who wears a two piece to swim in Bedok Swimming Complex and polluting the minds of the young boys have? The other battle instructor, Sun Bu Er, she teaches mostly magic usage, just like Huang Rong. Takahina finds her to be seemingly always in PMS mode. Tuesday:

Hyde suddenly contacted Takahina, saying he wants me to join his battle team. Takahina was of course, surprised and anxious. But he's seriously worried that he can't handle with the battle that this team fights. They fight very bold and madly, and Takahina does not have enough level to fight with them. Takahina is worried that the team would instead have to keep on using phoenix down to revive Takahina. But still, if Takahina doesn't battle, he can't level up right? So well... it seems there's no choice but to join the entourage.

Also, Takahina bought the latest Timber Maniacs from one of the stores selling it. Had a great time reading it.

Tuesday is good, because the next day is Wednesday, whereby Sun Bu Er doesn't summon her mana. She can't draw any mana on Wednesday.


Wednesday:

Takahina obtained part of his SeeD results today, which is the official results from one of the main battles which directs Takahina to continue his training in the Garden or to be officially graduated from the Garden and being a full fledged SeeD.

The result wasn't too bad. Just about almost to being an A grade SeeD but failed. Only Hu Tie Hua got the A grade, but it's not an impressive A.

Lulu was anxious though because she is worried for the previous batch of SeeD wannabes. They will get the official result for all of their SeeD test, not just GF capturing. GF capturing has been done long ago.


Thursday:

Hyde suddenly called Takahina to inform him that he will start battle in a few more days later. It kinda shocked Takahina. After all Takahina is still rather green in the field of status elements, and he wants Takahina to be in charge of inflicting status elements. Damn it. And he's not even giving Takahina any info of the creatures he's gonna battle with... in this way how is Takahina gonna use the correct status to inflict... worse still, can Takahina even have enough mana to use the status inflict enough times? Argh.

Also, Steiner's birthday is tomorrow, Rurouni has to plan for it... looks like Rurouni will have to spend more gil than usual this time... For that super expensive potion... bah. And after that we still have to start on competing with Chocobos, argh. Takahina is never good in Chocobos, in the past he is, but now most of the Rurouni can easily pawn and own Takahina's Chocobo and create super monster kills. Argh.


Friday:

Nothing happened much in the Garden... just that Takahina spent quite some time slacking around for that practice SeeD reflexes test again. Even though Takahina is fat and rather casual daily, but still he can be fast when he needs to. However, some of the Firaga shot off during the test still hurt Takahina. Sephiroth seems perfectly happy with the test though, but he still needed some remedy from Takahina, but it worked out perfectly. However, he seemed to be in pain during the test though... and Takahina still thought that Sephiroth find Fire magic to be a breeze.

Soon after when to the chocobo farm. One thing that Takahina likes about that place is that it has a machine which teaches on status infliction. Very nice. Also, the audience and other people learning on status infliction are also rather nice, they have much experience in it such as using death as a status infliction... some even have 4x status inflict in their weapons! Takahina currently has only 2x status inflict in his weapon.

Then during the chocobo fight, Takahina chose his usual intelligent chocobo that has a special ultimate of demi according to HP lost! So quite useful. But then, Takahina's chocobo got constantly killed by the other chocobo with the power to heal herself very quickly and always being able to throw off spears able to inflict extra damage with further distance, damn. However, one of the chocobos on the enemy team who is able to use absorb on his teammate and being able to walk on winds is rather weak compared to other chocobos whom Takahina saw. Yahiko needs to improve on that chocobo, if not he can stick with using some other chocobos such as the one which can grow to be chubby chocobo.

After that, Rurouni wanted to go to Steiner's house for a swim the next day. Takahina declined, he has to save game and to earn more gil.

Soon after, Hyde contacted Takahina, saying the battle deal is off as one of the group members is stuck in the time compressed world. Whatever lah. Takahina isn't too ready for it. But then, Hyde soon send infos of the creatures. He said he wanted to challenge the creature Ultima Weapon. Takahina then said no. After that he said he wanted to slaughter more Dingos. Takahina is ok with that though. Poison is enough to slaughter dingos. Soon after Hyde gave another info of a creature he said he might wanna punish in the future. An Omega Weapon. Takahina said no again. Most weapons are tough. Status can't hurt them.


Saturday:

It started out dumbly when Yahiko all of a sudden called to say he is late, "Holla! I just woke up!" Takahina cursed him. It's a sunday, and Takahina is resting to get his HP back. Bah.

Soon after, Takahina woke up, prepared to save game and to earn his gil. He needs to auto-list all the items and magic in his list so that it's more tidy. Soon after, Zell called Takahina up to ask for early pure status elements battle. As Zell is somewhat weaker than Takahina, Takahina agreed to it. He even called along Tidus.

Soon after is history. Just whack and whack and whack. Tidus is extremely high today though. He likes status element battles. One thing that Takahina likes about this

Hmmm, after that Takahina came online, and Hyde just threw Takahina into the battle team of his. One thing though... THE TEAM IS ALL HIONG ONE!

The summoner is from another garden and can be considered one of the top SeeD in his garden. KNN.

The Religious Takahina

I don't know if writing this will incur the wrath of anybody, and i sure hope my blog won't turn out to be the icon of flame between countries like Denmark and Iran... thus so, anything that you read in this post are not directed to anybody or any type of religious in particular.

Late last year and early this year, Takahina is directed to various other paths and introduction of different religious. Tian Wei with his preaching for Chrisitianity, the late Miss Lee's late minute change in religion, Priscilla the Soka society and lastly, my own buddhism.

The theme and subject is simple, each religious beliefs in their believes and miracle are helpful and beneficial to the society, there's no doubt about that, and surely I won't wanna question them in anyway which could caust social unrest.

Takahina just returned from a Soka concert... or you can say it's more like a graduation party for sections in the Soka Associations. The crowd was mostly the Soka people themselves and were quite enthusiatic. The characteristically unenthusiatic Takahina was well rather, overwhelmed. Then there were also some jokers around the area which somewhat pissed Takahina to no limits, but whatever. They are lucky Takahina never take out drumsticks to pia him.

Anyway, somehow religions which features such enthu kia (currently I only know chrisitianity and Soka) are very well... passionate. Perhaps it's got to do with the teachings of the religions or what, they always have things such as concert or what. And then with such things, they somewhat try to "attract" in more believers or so... not putting you all in a bad light or such, but then such methods are well... unmoved by Takahina.

There was once I remember I went to this Church concert for a christmas concert. My friend told me it's a concert, so it's ok to watch even though it's made by a religious group. Around the end of the whole thing, almost the whole place started praying or preaching or so, I don't know. Few of the people invited me to follow, but I didn't want to. Maybe it was my face which made them pek chiek, but then they somewhat got a little edgy. I think it's my face.

Then there was the time I went to Miss Lee's wake. Somehow, Takahina got a little pissed. The wake and all was well done... but then the church is like advertising themselves... and it was during a wake? I find it a little atrusive even if it's their policy or what to do so.

Then in around sec 2 I think. The pimpled faced, oily, tired and reluctant Takahina was asked for a survey... which in the end turned out to be a "recruiting" session to put it bluntly. Takahina answered and listened to that guy for like, an hour. Gave him my number and all... only to answer him, "no" in the end.

I made him waste an hour. I'm good.

Notice that most examples I mentioned are chrisitianity related, cause those are the more memorable examples I had regarding religion. Soka didn't do much to recruit, they mostly just encourage. Which was still acceptable with Takahina's limits.

With all due respect to any religions in the world, I feel that, no religion in any way should try to flaunt people of other religion away to theirs. Also no religion should disrespect other religions or what. And I'm sure no religions has any intentions on that.

I mean, for people to switch religion or so, there's nothing wrong with that. But then you don't go around and try to influence people in like the survey thingy or the funeral issue. The thing in the first place about influencing people is already a somewhat "disrespectful" thing to other religion. It's like saying that "hey, my god is better than your god, so join me!"

I think that influencing, should only happen when people are interested and ask. Like let's say I ask Tian Wei about Jesus and all. Then he can answer me and then from then on, offer me the choice of the church activities and then during the activities, you have the full liberty to offer silent influential effects. You don't ask people to join you, you let them want to join you. It's not your theory on how good you feel that your religious is, it's you let him feel on how good it is. Then the person from there will start to make their own choice. This is the way in which it won't be disrespectful to anybody in any sense... at least Takahina feels it that way.

Of course a little advertising on your religion is good... but don't ever be persistent regarding such issues. It's hurtful.

Takahina personally isn't such a religious person. I don't bai bai everyday, nor do I pray or what. I only do such things on special occasions. However, I do and still know of the circle which I know I should step in and out. And also, I'm logical and respectful enough to any religions. So let the future decide on the path which I choose. Don't influence me or what in whatever way. I won't really welcome that.

The Gambling Takahina

Lately, Takahina has been gambling with the 7 Flowers, partly due to being coerced and partly, I hate to be out of a group, so i've been going along with them. They have been mostly playing Blackjack or "Ban Lack". So today, i shall elaborate on the ways of it.

The way they play hor is that the banker opens one card of everyone, with his the last. Then from then on, he slowly determines whether to add or to open ppls card to see if they POM. Frankly lah I hate this rule and way of playing.

Let me just elaborate on the ways of the CASINO playing. Don't forget, i've entered into the Superstar Virgo's casino to get free drinks.

The bankers opens one card of each player as usual. The players will then play, with the following rule: Split, Double.

Split: 2 cards of same number can be seperated to form another side bet.
Double: You double your bet for the next card. So you can only get 1 more card for double the stake.
Insurance: Player can buy half their bets if the first card of banker is an ACE.
Banker's rule: Banker will continue to draw below 15 and will stop drawing at 16.

I'll elaborate with an example that features all rules.

Player bets $100. Banker gives card, you get a card of 5 while banker first card is an ACE. You are offered a chance to buy insurance, and thus your bet will now be $50. Then Banker gives second card, you get another 5 while banker covers her card, proving it's not a blackjack. Now have you 2 cards of 5, you can split. You open your card and seperate it into 2 sets, adding in another $50. So now you have 2 sets of cards with $50 for each. For Set A you get 15 pts. You end your turn. Set B you get a 6, so you have total of 11 for that now. Since it's 11. Player decides to go for Double. Hence, now you add in another $50, turning that bet into $100. The next card which comes in for Set B however is a 4, thus you are left with only 15 for that round and you can't take anymore card for Set B as you betted double. Now banker will open her card, showing it is just a 2. So now she has 3/12/13 points. ACE counts as 1/10/11 for first 2 cards, but counts as 1/10 at 3rd card beyond. Banker draws card again, King. So banker now has 13 points. Banker draws again, gets a 2. So banker now has 15. Due to banker rule, banker cannot stop drawing. Banker nows draw and gets a King. So you won both sets of cards with only 15 points. Total amount of wins = $150.

Understand now? Don't understand MSN me.

Anyway, the commonplace gambling is different and it places more advantage on the banker, thus so whatever blackjack rule you playing now, you can just scream back at him, "YOU EVIL CONMAN BANKER!" But still continue to bet.

Gambling, surprisingly it adds an extra element of fun to gambling. In the past when i first betted soccer, I was so worried about the outcome of Leeds and Leicester (Both football club at English Premier League), that when Leeds lost, I grew berserk and siao and began to fuck the television set which was displaying the match of Leeds and Leicester.

There was also another time whereby my mother gave me $50 to play jackpot. She has been at it for around 2hrs with just $50, while I set on it for less than 10 mins and the bloody machine ordered me for more money. I fuck it. My mother however was unconcerned and continued to be addicted to the flowing images and 7s you see all over. The sounds and graphics has gotten very high tech too.

From then on I decided, "I suck at gambling" despite having the techniques there.

And indeed it showed. There was once I played Blackjack with each round only 10c. Banker won almost all my rounds and won me 50c. I grew pek chiek. I shouted...

Banker has blackjack, now i lose $1.50 from 10c. Bah. So on that day I have to walk home.

But indeed gambling has a great effect on people. Nowadays, 7 Flowers are so hiong they can bet like $2 each round, thinking it's new year. And the amazing thing is they never stop. They keep on going until they lost like $12. It's nothing compared to true casino lah, but then hor, we as students, this is freak enough.

Gambling is indeed one of the most addictive thing in society, almost everything in this world has a sense of gambling in it. However, the one thing which makes it addictive is the fact that you don't believe you will keep on losing if you are obviously losing. Or the other thing is you believe your good luck will last and you will keep on winning more money. That's the holy factor. People has lost families and alot of shit with that fucking holy factor. But then, fuck i'm not gonna elaborate on social unrest, such people don't deserve the strength of my fingers typing here.

Anyway, gambling in the end, is just a pasttime lah. You can gamble and treat it like it's a sort of entertainment. You lose, treat it like paying for entertainment. You win, treat it like the banker is a man in red with either black or white hair. You gamble football, you will grow excited and spastic with even the most boring of matches. That is the power of gamble.

Just treat it like entertainment fee. Have your life depend on it and it'll means you're a no life.

The Idealistic Takahina

Lately, I realised on my motives in schooling and the things which I'm learning in school. The motive? Nothing.

In precise, the more I study the more I realise how distant the A'level subjects that I'm taking relates to the kind of things I love to do, except for maybe GP as GP can improve on my language and econs since I can learn more of business from there. Also, it's now then I realised that practically nothing in this world can be ideal to everybody. Why isn't it ideal? It's due to the presence of society.

What I want to pursue in the future, I feel will be something like drumming, writing, or perhaps even to just open a shop selling Jap related stuff including Hentai as Hentai will be exclusive in Singapore. However, presently the subjects which I'm studying, like physics, is totally useless for me... in the current situation anyway lah. Then if since I don't really have the interest in physics, why did I take in the first place? Society.

I've been injected with the opinion of entering JC, Uni, blah. The standard way lah, so in other words the stuff which I'm studying now is to pave my road for the university. But then, I don't think that what I'm studying in now or future will truly help me in my ideals. This happens not only to me, but I think, to the whole society as well.

Nobody can truly obtain their ideal goals, mainly due to society constraints. Few will have the courage to actually enter a field which is totally new and away from the mainstream like OniShinobi who pursue computer visual design and something of sorts. Few will have the chance to pursue on their musical talents since there isn't much chance of doing such and the only way we have is just plain old Yamaha. Most of this things, we have to go overseas.

So in the end it remains very fucked up. Why are we stuck in a way we cannot fully pursue our talents or interest? For example, there is not even a CCA which I enjoy in TPJC. Mid last year i thought I will finally have a CCA I can go and have fun. But heck this year the school just fucking close up that CCA. So now I'm CCAless and I don't even care about looking for any others since I have interest in none of it!

What the government sees on is results that can directly benefit the whole fucking country. They go and implement on ways in which the whole fucking country can benefit from it and they do it in their so-called public interest. Yes, go ahead and prevent any imports of porn or sexual related things, now even some 18 years old also don't even know what the fuck a dildo is. Heck, I even doubt many people heard of a shit called fleshlight. Nabei I'm gonna get myself one to show the noobs what it is.

The fact is that in the past, indeed such measures must be implemented to continue and further the growth of the society. I don't care what Lee Kwan Yew does at that time, I'm not born yet after all. But now, Singapore should be more open and give more power to the related associations to perform their tasks. Give more power to the people. This applies to schools as well.

I'm thinking, why must the school prohibit what students do? We want a Japanese Cultural Club, so just let us get it! When JC1s want to be together in a class, just let us be together lah! Why seperate us into different class with grade differences? It's not like it'll kill you. Tamade. You think you seperate us into different class with grades we won't know ar.

Till now one of the biggest mysteries I have is that why am I in a totally different class with Benjamin and Priscilla even though we have subjects and school backgrounds. Now then I realise, it's due to the fucking o level grades we get. In every class, they will add in some good students and some moderate students for the sake of the good students helping the moderate students. Then behind every class, there is a limit of the moderate students' grade. Like in my class it's around... 14 including all CCA pts. But perhaps in other class, they limit the grade to be like 12 or 13 and add in some students of around 9 pts and you get a class. That's imo how they mostly seperate us, of course I have not included other factors such as Orientation group and so. So now, i think it's just because i'm inferior that's why I'm not in your class hor. But then, i'm perfectly happy with my class now. The whole class never do GP homework, superb.

The most fucking and infuritating thing bout this society and the idealism behind what each of us wants is that society often at times is unable to provide the ideal life we want. If not, most of our ideals are covered or hidden with propaganda unwittingly transfered from our parents and teachers. I'm one such person. However, it's not like I will regret what I do now, just treat whatever things you're doing now as a game called Shinobi. Maths question? Easy. Those simple questions are just little enemy that can be defeated with just few slashes. Those hard questions will be the boss which will make you pek chiek. Then if those hard questions are still rather simple, it means that these questions are like the bosses in stage 1 and stage 2. Still handable. If it makes you frustrated to the extent you throw the whole book out of the window, then it's like the last boss in Shinobi whereby I almost throw the whole controller out of the window.

This society is fucked up.

I wrote a damn bloody long post on the events which affected me greatly this year, but then my BLOODY COMP just went HANGED!

And fuck, now I almost have totally no mood to write the same amount of things which I wrote.

So i'll just summarise all the shit which I wrote.



Event no.1: Performing in Suntec and Soka.

Shock Level: 8
- Shocked to see so many people seeing the performance. Shocked to learned that I'm holding a somewhat important role in both performances. I'm stage shy.

Learning Level: 10
- Learning how to cope with stage fright and all, it's a very enriching experience. Few will get to actually experience it.

Irritating Level: 5
- The irritating part is audience. They stare at you, they are abnormally quiet, they are irritating. Of course unless if they are your friends.

Financial Level: 0
- Both performances are free. But I don't get any money. Bah... lol

Memorable: 10
- Being my first, and being my test of drum skills to the public, naturally it's memorable. Thanks to the few who came to watch. Appreciate it.



Event no. 2: My quarrel with my brother

Shock Level: 9
- Who likes to hear their brother suddenly Sms them saying, "You theif" or "Bloody Hell" If you guys wanna see I still have the sms.

Learning Level: Indefinite
- I learned that water is thicker than blood. Priceless.

Irritating Level: 4
- It's awkward to see him. I don't enter his room anymore now anyway.

Financial Level: 0
- I don't pay him money anyway. Plus I have the ATM now.

Memorable: 8
- For brotherly quarrel to reach such a state, it's quite rare.




Event no. 3: Going to Innova JC

Shock Level: 7
-Doesn't really come as shock to me. IJC new school, needs student. Who won't want a model student like me? :p I sibei hao lian... i know...

Learning Level: 9
-Learning the new stuff in JC. Interesting.... yea... interesting.

Irritating Level: 10
- Wake up at 6am, sit a 50mins bus, see a cocked eye idiot and a damned it pikachu. Irritating everyday.

Financial Level: 5
- To be fair, the food isn't too expensive. But since notes all I pay myself now, so I hate it.

Memorable: 8
- After all I spent 3 months there and known alot of people. How can i say it's not?




Event no. 4: Miss Lee's Death

Shock Level: 10
- Everyone has to die, but I didn't expect it to be so fast.

Learning Level: 9
- It's my first encounter with a funeral for someone so close to me when I've now more or less matured. It wasn't pleasant, but the process and all was enriching to say the least.

Irritating Level: 5
- Having to fight back my tears. Not simple.

Financial Level: 0
- No need for further elaboration right?

Memorable: Indefinite
- I will never ever forget this incident. Through out my life.




Event no. 5: Going out on dates

Shock Level: Indefinite
- I thought I'll remain a monk. Seems otherwise.

Learning Level: 7
- Girls are hard to please. Or maybe just that I suck. Should be the latter.

Irritating Level: 1
- Frankly, in what words would it be irritating? The only irritating factor is the financial factor.

Financial Level: 8
- That's why I rather be a vagrant than gentlemen. But then, the money to me is well spent lah. At least... to me.

Memorable: 9
- Ah yes, of course memorable. It'll score a 10 if i can go to hotel... :p




Event no. 6: Jamming with a band.

Shock Level: 8
- Mainly cause I get complained for being too loud and off time. Whatever.

Learning Level: 9
- Learning how to play with a band is again a total new experience. In the past it's just with Benji. Not good. With band, at least it's more complete.

Irritating Level: 6
- Cause I can't keep time with slow songs and I dislike the Vocalist.

Financial Level: 9
- Jamming is expensive.

Memorable: 7
- Won't say it's the best experience. But not bad nonetheless. Jun and Jane are cool person anyway.




Event no.8: Going to Tampines Junior College.

Shock Level: 10
- Thanks to my mediocre Prelim results. The O's came as a surprise. Thus so the shock is high.

Learning Level: 10
- Of course, studying is learning. Add in 8 months of studying and you get a 10.

Irritating Level: 8
- Alot of things about TPJC is irritating. Currently its' the Winter Solace shit they have up on the main website. Shitty piece for framework done.

Financial Level: 5
- It's close. It's canteen cheap stuff.

Memorable: 10
- Please lah, I'm still in it. If i forget liao, I no need to do A's.




Event no.9: My grandfather constantly in hospital.

Shock Level: 5
- He's much fatter than me and unhealthy. Can't really say I don't foresee something like this.

Learning Level: 10
- As I go visit him and all. I see alot other older people and all. I also know of the many troubles people face when regarding such issues. But most Singaporeans are just too immature to comprehend the problem.

Irritating Level: 7
- It's irritating to know that your own Grandfather don't even know his grandson's name.

Financial Level: 0
- It's not heavy for me since I'm not paying for it, but my parents whom are mainly coerced to be in charge of it, are complaining about the cost for the nursing home.

Memorable: 10
- The lonely faces of the hospital and the one sentence which my grandpa told me remains to be my one motivation to be fillial to him even though he has already forgotten my name.




Event no.10: Setting up this blog and calling off the previous blog.

Shock Level: 9
- I thought my previous blog will last very long. But thanks to Pikachu who perpentually put my whole blog and my future on stake, it had to be called off. But then, i can abuse Pikachu as much as I want here. Muahahahahahahahaha....

Learning Level: 5
- Learned more things about html. But mostly other than that, I learned more about humanity. Yes...

Irritating Level: 10
- Yes very. Like just now. It cut off 2 hours of hard work and had me write for another. Fuck Blogger and my Computer.

Financial Level: 0
- I don't pay for my internet bills.

Memorable: 9
- I'm writing on it now. :p
