There is one shit that Takahina doesn't appreciate, even though he tries to. That in mainstream media.

Singalore's society has fallen to a state whereby people are followers, they follow the mainflow of whatever is famous or popular, they follow blindlessly and likes it religiously, without giving any whatsoever thoughts on "why is it good" or "why do I like it." They just give the stupid answer that they like it.

Which is very flawed.

Yeah yeah, Takahina is never one who likes such mainstream things. Go ahead and say that Takahina is strange, but Takahina loves being to the minority of indies who likes music which nobody else hear or artist whereby nobody else really like...

Anyway, lately Steiner has been hitting alot of Takahina's thoughts, mostly regarding to the lame things which he mentioned about mainstream music.

Now then, you all may ask, what is mainstream media.

Well, in Takahina's definition, it means music which are mostly popular and easily acceptable in the current society. So to say more people listen to them, radios often play them, cinema plays them just to earn people's money and not imparting any form of education to them. In fact, Takahina even wrote a part of his views on mainstream movies in the essay he submitted to Lulu a month ago. However, Takahina feels that Lulu may be a mainstream watcher as well, that's why Takahina didn't score well. She offended, bo pian.

Music -



Look at the cover, you know he's a poser already.

Jay Chou's love ballads. Takahina won't say his rap is mainstream since not all people like it, and the lyrics of his raps are meaningful at times.

Movies -

Believe it or not, there is. Such mangas and animes are Naruto and Gundam Seed Destiny. Why are they mainstream? Cause they are supposedly good production, but to be bastardised and overrated by shitty Singaloreans, which makes Takahina unwilling to watch them.

The shitified fact about mainstream is that even though they may be good, they are always bastardised to be overrated. Then other less mainstream are in the process, ignored by this mainstream lameass people. That is the main shit about it.

Let Takahina ask, how many people in Singapore actually buys or listen to Matsu Takako's music. I think it's less than the GST of jpop listeners in Singalore. And how many hardcore Jpop/Jrock listeners are there in Singalore? Again, less than the GST of Singapore. So to say, it's very very little. Her songs are also love ballads, and such, but then no one hears, why? Cause most get overcrowded by the power of mainstream Jpop artist like Boa and Ayumi. Ayumi in the past is mainstream due to her overwhelming popular love ballads, but now she's changing style and undoubtedly her fame has dropped. To be below Boa Takahina feels. Why so? Cause Boa is still singing mainstream music. Also, it could be due to the failure of advertising, but whatever.

But then, does Takahina hate Boa's mainstream music? No. What Takahina dislikes it the way people ignore other artist due to mainstream.

The fact is that due to mainstream music being more readily accepted, it doesn't mean that it's good, just that it's easily accepted. So to say, less mainstream music is not bad just cause it's less readily accepted. Get Takahina?

If people do not give indie music a chance, then they keep on listening to mainstream music, eventually your views and all will be overcrowded by the mainstream quality and it will be harder and harder to accept other streams of music. Like Takahina has never listened to hardcore music in the past. But thanks to Sephiroth and Steiner giving Takahina the chance, he has listened, and now he listens to it... albeit once in a while. It's not neccesary for one to compulsory like indie music, but just give it a try. Do not be extreme.

And normally, Singaloreans need not give mainstream things a try. Why? Cause it's bloody everywhere. There was once Zidane played Dota and this guy just spammed...

Takahina special report

The time which I'm writing this, I have 2 information which I want to say.

Firstly, I have done and posted up my newest review, "The Adventures of Wisely". Note to all, the reviews in which Takahina has done is strictly done by myself with no referance to anything else whatsoever. Also, Takahina has the products/subjects that he did the review on. Thus so if anybody wants to lend or have a referance on this things, free feel to ask... even though Takahina will most likely say,

"Wait Long Long."

But of course, there are exceptions.

Secondly, Takahina wants to report that by the time I'm writing this, I would have turned 18 years old. Yes, it's my birthday. I remember Matsu Takako having a song on birthdays... "another birthday". The title sounds indifferent, but maybe that should be what I'm feeling now. It's not like Takahina is a famous person or what, but Takahina is definitely someone who is very observant on such "special" days. On what, he's observant about, there's no real need to state it lah hor.

Takahina is tired... Grrr. Did quite a number of things today so Takahina will not write anything intelluctual. So Takahina will write on various things which happened throughout the week. But so as to prevent anybody from knowing that Takahina is scolding them, Takahina shall write in form of codes. However... Takahina will give hints on who is who...

Monday:

Firstly, Lulu, the reflexes trainer, returned Takahina's battle report on Monday. Takahina chose the battle of the rampaging young prostitude who is furiously jamming the internet lines recently and inflirtrating young minds. As Takahina has long wanted to battle this young prostitude ever since he heard about her and in concern for the young ones in this good world, Takahina decided on it. However, Lulu didn't seem apleased with my battle results. In the end, Lulu's comment is...

Damn it. Obviously Lulu finds this young prostitude too simple a battle for Takahina and Lulu wants me to go look for more worthy battles in the global world. Maybe Lulu's right... but Takahina dislike it. After all, what right does someone who wears a two piece to swim in Bedok Swimming Complex and polluting the minds of the young boys have? And stop bending down as well Lulu, I know you have a good body, but your face could use some improvements, not that it's bad... but it pales in comparison with the other batter trainer in the Garden, Huang Rong.

The other battle instructor, Sun Bu Er, she teaches mostly magic usage, just like Huang Rong. Takahina finds her to be seemingly always in PMS mode. Her way of doing battle is to using mana to be implied into people under her. Then soon after, she will reprimend anybody who defies her forced mana or break her concentration while she's summoning that mana. Bah.

Monday, is always a bad day for Takahina.


Tuesday:

Hyde suddenly contacted Takahina, saying he wants me to join his battle team. Takahina was of course, surprised and anxious. But he's seriously worried that he can't handle with the battle that this team fights. They fight very bold and madly, and Takahina does not have enough level to fight with them. Takahina is worried that the team would instead have to keep on using phoenix down to revive Takahina. But still, if Takahina doesn't battle, he can't level up right? So well... it seems there's no choice but to join the entourage.

Also, Takahina bought the latest Timber Maniacs from one of the stores selling it. Had a great time reading it.

Tuesday is good, because the next day is Wednesday, whereby Sun Bu Er doesn't summon her mana. She can't draw any mana on Wednesday.


Wednesday:

Takahina obtained part of his SeeD results today, which is the official results from one of the main battles which directs Takahina to continue his training in the Garden or to be officially graduated from the Garden and being a full fledged SeeD.

The result wasn't too bad. Just about almost to being an A grade SeeD but failed. Only Hu Tie Hua got the A grade, but it's not an impressive A.

Lulu was anxious though because she is worried for the previous batch of SeeD wannabes. They will get the official result for all of their SeeD test, not just GF capturing. GF capturing has been done long ago.


Thursday:

Hyde suddenly called Takahina to inform him that he will start battle in a few more days later. It kinda shocked Takahina. After all Takahina is still rather green in the field of status elements, and he wants Takahina to be in charge of inflicting status elements. Damn it. And he's not even giving Takahina any info of the creatures he's gonna battle with... in this way how is Takahina gonna use the correct status to inflict... worse still, can Takahina even have enough mana to use the status inflict enough times? Argh.

Also, Steiner's birthday is tomorrow, Rurouni has to plan for it... looks like Rurouni will have to spend more gil than usual this time... For that super expensive potion... bah. And after that we still have to start on competing with Chocobos, argh. Takahina is never good in Chocobos, in the past he is, but now most of the Rurouni can easily pawn and own Takahina's Chocobo and create super monster kills. Argh.


Friday:

Nothing happened much in the Garden... just that Takahina spent quite some time slacking around for that practice SeeD reflexes test again. Even though Takahina is fat and rather casual daily, but still he can be fast when he needs to. However, some of the Firaga shot off during the test still hurt Takahina. Sephiroth seems perfectly happy with the test though, but he still needed some remedy from Takahina, but it worked out perfectly. However, he seemed to be in pain during the test though... and Takahina still thought that Sephiroth find Fire magic to be a breeze.

Soon after when to the chocobo farm. One thing that Takahina likes about that place is that it has a machine which teaches on status infliction. Very nice. Also, the audience and other people learning on status infliction are also rather nice, they have much experience in it such as using death as a status infliction... some even have 4x status inflict in their weapons! Takahina currently has only 2x status inflict in his weapon.

Then during the chocobo fight, Takahina chose his usual intelligent chocobo that has a special ultimate of demi according to HP lost! So quite useful. But then, Takahina's chocobo got constantly killed by the other chocobo with the power to heal herself very quickly and always being able to throw off spears able to inflict extra damage with further distance, damn. However, one of the chocobos on the enemy team who is able to use absorb on his teammate and being able to walk on winds is rather weak compared to other chocobos whom Takahina saw. Yahiko needs to improve on that chocobo, if not he can stick with using some other chocobos such as the one which can grow to be chubby chocobo.

After that, Rurouni wanted to go to Steiner's house for a swim the next day. Takahina declined, he has to save game and to earn more gil.

Soon after, Hyde contacted Takahina, saying the battle deal is off as one of the group members is stuck in the time compressed world. Whatever lah. Takahina isn't too ready for it. But then, Hyde soon send infos of the creatures. He said he wanted to challenge the creature Ultima Weapon. Takahina then said no. After that he said he wanted to slaughter more Dingos. Takahina is ok with that though. Poison is enough to slaughter dingos. Soon after Hyde gave another info of a creature he said he might wanna punish in the future. An Omega Weapon. Takahina said no again. Most weapons are tough. Status can't hurt them.


Saturday:

It started out dumbly when Yahiko all of a sudden called to say he is late, "Holla! I just woke up!" Takahina cursed him. It's a sunday, and Takahina is resting to get his HP back. Bah.

Soon after, Takahina woke up, prepared to save game and to earn his gil. He needs to auto-list all the items and magic in his list so that it's more tidy. Soon after, Zell called Takahina up to ask for early pure status elements battle. As Zell is somewhat weaker than Takahina, Takahina agreed to it. He even called along Tidus.

Soon after is history. Just whack and whack and whack. Tidus is extremely high today though. He likes status element battles. One thing that Takahina likes about this

Hmmm, after that Takahina came online, and Hyde just threw Takahina into the battle team of his. One thing though... THE TEAM IS ALL HIONG ONE!

The summoner is from another garden and can be considered one of the top SeeD in his garden. KNN.

The Religious Takahina

I don't know if writing this will incur the wrath of anybody, and i sure hope my blog won't turn out to be the icon of flame between countries like Denmark and Iran... thus so, anything that you read in this post are not directed to anybody or any type of religious in particular.

Late last year and early this year, Takahina is directed to various other paths and introduction of different religious. Tian Wei with his preaching for Chrisitianity, the late Miss Lee's late minute change in religion, Priscilla the Soka society and lastly, my own buddhism.

The theme and subject is simple, each religious beliefs in their believes and miracle are helpful and beneficial to the society, there's no doubt about that, and surely I won't wanna question them in anyway which could caust social unrest.

Takahina just returned from a Soka concert... or you can say it's more like a graduation party for sections in the Soka Associations. The crowd was mostly the Soka people themselves and were quite enthusiatic. The characteristically unenthusiatic Takahina was well rather, overwhelmed. Then there were also some jokers around the area which somewhat pissed Takahina to no limits, but whatever. They are lucky Takahina never take out drumsticks to pia him.

Anyway, somehow religions which features such enthu kia (currently I only know chrisitianity and Soka) are very well... passionate. Perhaps it's got to do with the teachings of the religions or what, they always have things such as concert or what. And then with such things, they somewhat try to "attract" in more believers or so... not putting you all in a bad light or such, but then such methods are well... unmoved by Takahina.

There was once I remember I went to this Church concert for a christmas concert. My friend told me it's a concert, so it's ok to watch even though it's made by a religious group. Around the end of the whole thing, almost the whole place started praying or preaching or so, I don't know. Few of the people invited me to follow, but I didn't want to. Maybe it was my face which made them pek chiek, but then they somewhat got a little edgy. I think it's my face.

Then there was the time I went to Miss Lee's wake. Somehow, Takahina got a little pissed. The wake and all was well done... but then the church is like advertising themselves... and it was during a wake? I find it a little atrusive even if it's their policy or what to do so.

Then in around sec 2 I think. The pimpled faced, oily, tired and reluctant Takahina was asked for a survey... which in the end turned out to be a "recruiting" session to put it bluntly. Takahina answered and listened to that guy for like, an hour. Gave him my number and all... only to answer him, "no" in the end.

I made him waste an hour. I'm good.

Notice that most examples I mentioned are chrisitianity related, cause those are the more memorable examples I had regarding religion. Soka didn't do much to recruit, they mostly just encourage. Which was still acceptable with Takahina's limits.

With all due respect to any religions in the world, I feel that, no religion in any way should try to flaunt people of other religion away to theirs. Also no religion should disrespect other religions or what. And I'm sure no religions has any intentions on that.

I mean, for people to switch religion or so, there's nothing wrong with that. But then you don't go around and try to influence people in like the survey thingy or the funeral issue. The thing in the first place about influencing people is already a somewhat "disrespectful" thing to other religion. It's like saying that "hey, my god is better than your god, so join me!"

I think that influencing, should only happen when people are interested and ask. Like let's say I ask Tian Wei about Jesus and all. Then he can answer me and then from then on, offer me the choice of the church activities and then during the activities, you have the full liberty to offer silent influential effects. You don't ask people to join you, you let them want to join you. It's not your theory on how good you feel that your religious is, it's you let him feel on how good it is. Then the person from there will start to make their own choice. This is the way in which it won't be disrespectful to anybody in any sense... at least Takahina feels it that way.

Of course a little advertising on your religion is good... but don't ever be persistent regarding such issues. It's hurtful.

Takahina personally isn't such a religious person. I don't bai bai everyday, nor do I pray or what. I only do such things on special occasions. However, I do and still know of the circle which I know I should step in and out. And also, I'm logical and respectful enough to any religions. So let the future decide on the path which I choose. Don't influence me or what in whatever way. I won't really welcome that.

If you truly know your stuff and understand the goings in between, you will feel dumb acting as a poser. Like Takahina.

Why hide or flaunt your knowledge? Why not be honest in such terms. Frankly, in the past I feel that talking about such things to girls is stupid. But then now, I feel that girls also can share such issues... the most important thing is that you speak to them mature... which I find alot of SG guys lack of.

Oh ya, the road there was messed up. There was like a 45 degree upwards U-shaped turn at one of the junctions. And along the mountain, there was an idiot car who raced past Pa. Pa grew pek chiek and jerked off the accelerator. POM. I grew scared and fasten my seat belts at the back row of the car.

On the second day, we went to the Outdoor theme park. Then my cousin says the cam left a little batt and can only take a few pics. I chided his idiocry. HAR HAR HAR.

The Gambling Takahina

Lately, Takahina has been gambling with the 7 Flowers, partly due to being coerced and partly, I hate to be out of a group, so i've been going along with them. They have been mostly playing Blackjack or "Ban Lack". So today, i shall elaborate on the ways of it.

The way they play hor is that the banker opens one card of everyone, with his the last. Then from then on, he slowly determines whether to add or to open ppls card to see if they POM. Frankly lah I hate this rule and way of playing.

Let me just elaborate on the ways of the CASINO playing. Don't forget, i've entered into the Superstar Virgo's casino to get free drinks.

The bankers opens one card of each player as usual. The players will then play, with the following rule: Split, Double.

Split: 2 cards of same number can be seperated to form another side bet.
Double: You double your bet for the next card. So you can only get 1 more card for double the stake.
Insurance: Player can buy half their bets if the first card of banker is an ACE.
Banker's rule: Banker will continue to draw below 15 and will stop drawing at 16.

I'll elaborate with an example that features all rules.

Player bets $100. Banker gives card, you get a card of 5 while banker first card is an ACE. You are offered a chance to buy insurance, and thus your bet will now be $50. Then Banker gives second card, you get another 5 while banker covers her card, proving it's not a blackjack. Now have you 2 cards of 5, you can split. You open your card and seperate it into 2 sets, adding in another $50. So now you have 2 sets of cards with $50 for each. For Set A you get 15 pts. You end your turn. Set B you get a 6, so you have total of 11 for that now. Since it's 11. Player decides to go for Double. Hence, now you add in another $50, turning that bet into $100. The next card which comes in for Set B however is a 4, thus you are left with only 15 for that round and you can't take anymore card for Set B as you betted double. Now banker will open her card, showing it is just a 2. So now she has 3/12/13 points. ACE counts as 1/10/11 for first 2 cards, but counts as 1/10 at 3rd card beyond. Banker draws card again, King. So banker now has 13 points. Banker draws again, gets a 2. So banker now has 15. Due to banker rule, banker cannot stop drawing. Banker nows draw and gets a King. So you won both sets of cards with only 15 points. Total amount of wins = $150.

Understand now? Don't understand MSN me.

Anyway, the commonplace gambling is different and it places more advantage on the banker, thus so whatever blackjack rule you playing now, you can just scream back at him, "YOU EVIL CONMAN BANKER!" But still continue to bet.

Gambling, surprisingly it adds an extra element of fun to gambling. In the past when i first betted soccer, I was so worried about the outcome of Leeds and Leicester (Both football club at English Premier League), that when Leeds lost, I grew berserk and siao and began to fuck the television set which was displaying the match of Leeds and Leicester.

There was also another time whereby my mother gave me $50 to play jackpot. She has been at it for around 2hrs with just $50, while I set on it for less than 10 mins and the bloody machine ordered me for more money. I fuck it. My mother however was unconcerned and continued to be addicted to the flowing images and 7s you see all over. The sounds and graphics has gotten very high tech too.

From then on I decided, "I suck at gambling" despite having the techniques there.

And indeed it showed. There was once I played Blackjack with each round only 10c. Banker won almost all my rounds and won me 50c. I grew pek chiek. I shouted...

"I bet 50c!!!"

Banker has blackjack, now i lose $1.50 from 10c. Bah. So on that day I have to walk home.

But indeed gambling has a great effect on people. Nowadays, 7 Flowers are so hiong they can bet like $2 each round, thinking it's new year. And the amazing thing is they never stop. They keep on going until they lost like $12. It's nothing compared to true casino lah, but then hor, we as students, this is freak enough.

Gambling is indeed one of the most addictive thing in society, almost everything in this world has a sense of gambling in it. However, the one thing which makes it addictive is the fact that you don't believe you will keep on losing if you are obviously losing. Or the other thing is you believe your good luck will last and you will keep on winning more money. That's the holy factor. People has lost families and alot of shit with that fucking holy factor. But then, fuck i'm not gonna elaborate on social unrest, such people don't deserve the strength of my fingers typing here.

Anyway, gambling in the end, is just a pasttime lah. You can gamble and treat it like it's a sort of entertainment. You lose, treat it like paying for entertainment. You win, treat it like the banker is a man in red with either black or white hair. You gamble football, you will grow excited and spastic with even the most boring of matches. That is the power of gamble.

Just treat it like entertainment fee. Have your life depend on it and it'll means you're a no life.

The Idealistic Takahina

Lately, I realised on my motives in schooling and the things which I'm learning in school. The motive? Nothing.

In precise, the more I study the more I realise how distant the A'level subjects that I'm taking relates to the kind of things I love to do, except for maybe GP as GP can improve on my language and econs since I can learn more of business from there. Also, it's now then I realised that practically nothing in this world can be ideal to everybody. Why isn't it ideal? It's due to the presence of society.

What I want to pursue in the future, I feel will be something like drumming, writing, or perhaps even to just open a shop selling Jap related stuff including Hentai as Hentai will be exclusive in Singapore. However, presently the subjects which I'm studying, like physics, is totally useless for me... in the current situation anyway lah. Then if since I don't really have the interest in physics, why did I take in the first place? Society.

I've been injected with the opinion of entering JC, Uni, blah. The standard way lah, so in other words the stuff which I'm studying now is to pave my road for the university. But then, I don't think that what I'm studying in now or future will truly help me in my ideals. This happens not only to me, but I think, to the whole society as well.

Nobody can truly obtain their ideal goals, mainly due to society constraints. Few will have the courage to actually enter a field which is totally new and away from the mainstream like OniShinobi who pursue computer visual design and something of sorts. Few will have the chance to pursue on their musical talents since there isn't much chance of doing such and the only way we have is just plain old Yamaha. Most of this things, we have to go overseas.

So in the end it remains very fucked up. Why are we stuck in a way we cannot fully pursue our talents or interest? For example, there is not even a CCA which I enjoy in TPJC. Mid last year i thought I will finally have a CCA I can go and have fun. But heck this year the school just fucking close up that CCA. So now I'm CCAless and I don't even care about looking for any others since I have interest in none of it!

What the government sees on is results that can directly benefit the whole fucking country. They go and implement on ways in which the whole fucking country can benefit from it and they do it in their so-called public interest. Yes, go ahead and prevent any imports of porn or sexual related things, now even some 18 years old also don't even know what the fuck a dildo is. Heck, I even doubt many people heard of a shit called fleshlight. Nabei I'm gonna get myself one to show the noobs what it is.

The fact is that in the past, indeed such measures must be implemented to continue and further the growth of the society. I don't care what Lee Kwan Yew does at that time, I'm not born yet after all. But now, Singapore should be more open and give more power to the related associations to perform their tasks. Give more power to the people. This applies to schools as well.

I'm thinking, why must the school prohibit what students do? We want a Japanese Cultural Club, so just let us get it! When JC1s want to be together in a class, just let us be together lah! Why seperate us into different class with grade differences? It's not like it'll kill you. Tamade. You think you seperate us into different class with grades we won't know ar.

Till now one of the biggest mysteries I have is that why am I in a totally different class with Benjamin and Priscilla even though we have subjects and school backgrounds. Now then I realise, it's due to the fucking o level grades we get. In every class, they will add in some good students and some moderate students for the sake of the good students helping the moderate students. Then behind every class, there is a limit of the moderate students' grade. Like in my class it's around... 14 including all CCA pts. But perhaps in other class, they limit the grade to be like 12 or 13 and add in some students of around 9 pts and you get a class. That's imo how they mostly seperate us, of course I have not included other factors such as Orientation group and so. So now, i think it's just because i'm inferior that's why I'm not in your class hor. But then, i'm perfectly happy with my class now. The whole class never do GP homework, superb.

The most fucking and infuritating thing bout this society and the idealism behind what each of us wants is that society often at times is unable to provide the ideal life we want. If not, most of our ideals are covered or hidden with propaganda unwittingly transfered from our parents and teachers. I'm one such person. However, it's not like I will regret what I do now, just treat whatever things you're doing now as a game called Shinobi. Maths question? Easy. Those simple questions are just little enemy that can be defeated with just few slashes. Those hard questions will be the boss which will make you pek chiek. Then if those hard questions are still rather simple, it means that these questions are like the bosses in stage 1 and stage 2. Still handable. If it makes you frustrated to the extent you throw the whole book out of the window, then it's like the last boss in Shinobi whereby I almost throw the whole controller out of the window.

This society is fucked up.

- Shocked to see so many people seeing the performance. Shocked to learned that I'm holding a somewhat important role in both performances. I'm stage shy.

- Learning how to cope with stage fright and all, it's a very enriching experience. Few will get to actually experience it.

- The irritating part is audience. They stare at you, they are abnormally quiet, they are irritating. Of course unless if they are your friends.

- Both performances are free. But I don't get any money. Bah... lol

Memorable: 10
- Being my first, and being my test of drum skills to the public, naturally it's memorable. Thanks to the few who came to watch. Appreciate it.

- As I go visit him and all. I see alot other older people and all. I also know of the many troubles people face when regarding such issues. But most Singaporeans are just too immature to comprehend the problem.

- It's irritating to know that your own Grandfather don't even know his grandson's name.

- It's not heavy for me since I'm not paying for it, but my parents whom are mainly coerced to be in charge of it, are complaining about the cost for the nursing home.

The Christmas Takahina

Well, firstly of all post season greetings to everyone. Fuck it, Christmas has already ended by the time I write this. Now is what they call boxing day. What do you do on this day, Box everyone till they all become Pandaren. After that, Pandas in China won't be endangered, bamboo shoots will be. Why even care about those critters anyway?

Anyway, christmas is imo, just a festival for commercialized activity to take place, as simple as that. So in other words, the economy for any country and the mood for any businessman will be very good, thanks to this christmas. I'm not saying that it's bad though. People gather and meet on this day, talk crap and all. If the mood gets good then 2 person of the opposite sex may meet up and go to Hotel 81, once again another commercialized activity has been conducted and all are happy.

So, naturally Takahina has his own activities done. So let's go back to 24th Dec.

24th Dec:

Woke up and groaned about the lack of money in my bank account. To solve that problem, do more housework. Thus so I was unusually quick in my houseworking on that day. Then my mother asked me.

"You think you want to make Ba Zhang for the christmas party tomorrow?"

"It's not Duan Wu Festival. But if you want to I don't mind."

"Forget it, no time to wash the leaves of it le."

You can never know the mind of my mother. She asks strange questions like.

Mom to bread seller: "Hey, this one delicious or not?"

Bread Seller: "YA! Confirmed Delicious one!"

Anyway, soon after I went over to meet Rurouni at 1.30pm at MRT. Apparantly someone had transmit the wRONG time and in the end I had to wait bout 25mins for all of them to arrive except for the person who gave the wRONG time. Anyway, our activity is Kboxing.

And expected, the whole place is full of girls in mini-skirts. Yippee!! So we went on singing from 2pm-7pm. And throughout, Rong was always there to wreck my song. YiPPEE!! Also, I realised Onishinobi's singing style is really unique, the way he sing is like those dual singing, it's like 1 sings the original key while the other goes for another tone of key. Such singing skills are harder to grasp. One example is the "Shan Hu Hai" by Lara from South Fist Mother and a brand of dog food named Jay. Notice at different times, Lara sings at a different key or tone from Jay. That is the so called dual singing.

Soon after, we decide to go for Korean Garden. But we checked the price, fucking expensive by $3. This detered us. Then soon enough, I gradually realised my hatred for western food. Expensive and unfilling. So we retreated back to Korean Garden since all other restaurants are either more ex or full. We waited for around 30mins before deciding again.

"Let's go somewhere else eat. This is fucked up."

"Indeed, we are hungry."

So, we went to a place we never thought will go.

Genki Sushi.

In the end, for around $3 lesser than Korean Garden, we had our fill and fun. Watching ben puking is always a pleasant sight. So, now they go to my house. For some reason, it's always my house to be the final destination.

Then I realised that my mother had prepared another gift for me and that I received a christmas card. Was very happy that she had the heart to send me. Proves at least she hasn't forgotten me.

And so, Rurouni began playing 2 games.

1. Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete
2. Pokemon Cards

Yea, pokemon cards. Interesting ne? An interesting sight to see is that Rurouni is changing from being addicted to Dota to being addicted to Heroes of Might and Magic 3. At least the latter is so much fucking cheaper than Dota, 1 is at least $10 for 5 heroes of DOTA, the other is FREE!! And expectedly, between players, it's always the HAN's who wins. Chin Han and Woon Han. Ben and Rong being upset at their lost, went to chiong more heroes while the rest of us either slept or played pokemon cards.

This event lasted the whole night. Personally, i slept at 6am, woke up at 8am to send them, slept till 12pm again. Interesting day.

25th Dec:

Yea, christmas, blah blah blah. But the one thing which seriously surprised me is the short chat on MSN i had with Karen. Was shocked. I shall not say why.

Then also, Rong left his key with me at home. I wonder how he smuggle back home. Then I had a few hours of slacking. Oh, Rurouni, my mother also bought all of ur breakfast, but you guys are already gone, so... ^^;

Next, the family went to Ah Ma's house for the Christmas Party. Somehow, I don't seem to feel integrated enough there compared to Grandma's house (Father's side). And at there, I had my second turkey of my life. Also, didn't talk to Kathryn. Don't know why. Maybe she is too tall tts why.

Also, Father gave me a Hong Bao... credited to me anyway. Looks like the theory that Chin Han provided; "The Only Difference Between Santa and God of Fortune is their hair colour." managed to persuade my father. And also, this is one of the few rare occasion I actually Sa Jiao to my father for $. I feel like I am more suited to be a girl... Shit.

And now, I'm writing this. fuck Christmas anyway. Because...

1. Christmas proves the ending of your holidays.
2. Overrated.
3. There is no such thing as a sexy Santa costume being worn in reality like those you see in the Carlsberg Beer Commercial.... or is it Heinnken? Ah Fuck lah.

I feel hurt.

After the wake of Miss Lee's.

Even though I went out with Tian Wei, had a silly time.

But still, the hurt lingers.

I'm not acting myself now.

I don't know what happened.

Her funeral's tomorrow.

I don't feel like going.

I don't wanna cry again.

Everytime I cry, I don't want to let people know.

But deep down, my heart craves for people's console.

I just want someone to be there for me.

But even if they are there, I can't make myself say out my pain.

I want to go tomorrow, because I don't want to have any regrets to my favourite teacher.

But, I don't want to go, because I can't stand the feeling of crying.

Crying to yourself, alone.

Reluctant to let people know your own pain.

When I went to my auntie's funeral, it's the same.

I cry, but I force myself not to.

My body was shaking tremondously, tears just flow out.

But I force myself, not to make noise.

"Not to cry, stop myself."

The situation is the same for today, and tomorrow will be similiar.

I hate that situation.

When I got to know more of myself and my emotions, I truly cried for only 6 times.

I cried once in Secondary School, I cried twice at home, I cried once after visiting my hospitalized Grandpa. I cried 2 weeks before when I saw Miss Lee and today during the wake upon seeing Miss Lee's gorgeous face.

All these 6 times, people may know, but nobody saw.

In the end, all I want is someone to be there for me, I want to openly cry out in front of someone.

With the choked up voice, the staggering voice.

I used to think I'm strong, I can handle my own emotions and problems.

But now, I really need someone...

Someone whom I can cry out to.

Throughout my life, I have never truly express my own troubles.

I keep all the sadness inside me, even though it may be insignificant compared to perhaps starving or war.

But still, I don't express it.

I only listen to other people's problem.

Then now I realised, it's not that nobody is willing to hear me, but I can't speak it.

I look at myself in the mirror.

The once plump and inconfident face, is now active and confident enough to face people.

Thanks to Miss Lee.

But now, this face has fallen to the state of emotionless, dry lips, slightly reddish eyes.

I can't sleep at night.

My heart aches continuously.

My mind is constantly pondering over many things.

Love, Relationship, Life, Death, Purpose.

The silent peaceful night has now turned to dreadful sorrowful night.

Am I being immature writing such things?

Am I being immature for thinking that my problems are significant compared to the world?

I don't know.

All I know is, I don't want to go, but I don't want to have regrets.

What should I do?

Death of a loved one

Miss Lee passed away on the Monday, 12th December 2005.

Someone called me from the hospital, informing me and all of her students of the news. I heard crying sounds from the phone, and that caller is in tears as well.

Called Peiling, whom is a student of Miss Lee's. She knows of it as well. My brother was contacted through sms, but I'm sure that the students will contact him as well.

Strangely, all Peiling and I felt, is just a sense of helplessness and emotionless. We don't feel terribly sad, even though we know we're supposed to, but the feeling is just not there.

Why?

The other time I felt this was when I heard of the news of my auntie, whom passed away in the hospital, due to cancer as well. I obtained the news at 5.30 am, 30mins before I was to wake up and head for my primary school.

During that time, I don't feel much as well. Unknowingly, I can't feel sadness. This time is the same.

Peiling asked me why? Frankly, I can't answer it myself. I don't know how to answer. I can only say, "Maybe it's too sudden? Maybe we can't feel the sadness looming."

I'm glad I went to visit her on Saturday, and then informed Peiling to visit her on that day as well. I really was glad.

I don't know why, but I can't feel anything now. Nothing. I don't feel like listening to music, I don't feel like doing anything now. I don't even feel like talking it out to anyone. But I know I must express out my bewilderment and confusion now. Regardlessly.

Even though I'm not Christian, but may God embrace her with his light. May Miss Lee rest in peace in heaven.

The "Holidaying" Takahina

For those who do not know, JC students are having holidays for almost a month now and there's just 3 weeks of it left.

Due to me lacking of the mood and the mind of writing any sensible shit after playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3:Complete with Chin Han and Junrong from 1am to 6.30am, I shall just write a wasted post of what Takahina normally does in holidays.

Ok, you people should have noticed of the "Currently playing..." and "Currently seeking..." shit that is impaled onto the left frame of the website, let me just explain the use of those 2 later.

Ok, during holiday time, my schedule is very simple. I call it the "Law of Free Days."

1. Complete 1 course of homework, then you're allowed of 1 hour of doing the "Law of Activity" task.

2. There will be resting time residing from when I sleep up to 1pm. So to say I never sleep more than 1pm unlike Samuel who loves to waste his life sleeping till 4pm. Another resting time will be from 5pm to 9pm. Then after 2am I'm free to do what I want. So to say, I don't sleep before 2am.

3. During resting time, you can do whatever you want. Just make sure you don't die.

4. If there are events on that day, like saying watching a movie at 3pm. Then I won't do homework until the next homework time. However, if the event starts on a resting time, then before the event happens I'll do homework. The event will then change to be a resting time.

Ok, that is mainly the schedule in a holiday. But then how do I judge which "Currently playing/watching..." thingy to do? That goes into another law of mine, named the "Law of Activities." It moves in a cycle, so you people should get the driff.

1. Role Playing Game, a.k.a RPG. Etc: Final Fantasy X-2. Only 1 ending for it. So for RPGs with multiple endings that require conditions from the start of the game like Suikoden 3, I'll play for it's other endings after a cycle. However if the ending is able to get acquired at fairly late stage of the game, then it's no problem to get the ending all at once.

2. Fighting Game. Etc: Guilty Gear XX. Only 1 full ending for a character per play. So like in Guilty Gear XX there is story mode and arcade mode. I'll need to complete both arcade mode and story mode to consider the game passed.

3. Watch Anime. Etc: Rurouni Kenshin. Simple, just finish watching the whole thing. This involves all the OVAs and movies involved. If watching anime which has not finished production, priority will be placed on watching that anime, overriding any other activies.

4. Action RPG. Etc: Shinobi. 1 ending for each play. Game play style similar to RPGs. Just that it's a different genre of game.

5. Computer Games. Etc: Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete. Once again, similiar rules applies from RPG. However, for Computer Games you can use cheat codes. But not recommended. Don't ask me why, I just like it. For games like "The Sims" whereby there is no ending to it, play it for at least 30 hours. I'll keep note of the time.

6. Bishoujo Games. Etc: Pick me Honey! I know I know, don't use that fucked up eyes to stare at me. Bishoujo Games does have their playability. Just think of it as... a RPG with porn in it. Yeah, nice stuff. So, the same rules applies from RPG. Just that you need to be physically fit and mentally sensible to play it. Not recommended for most people.

So, that's how the cycle moves. Normally I won't switch to other games because I wanna discipline myself in playing that game, no matter how kan na sai it is. However I'll include in side games and they can only be strategy games such as "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms." That's why for those people who frequently sees my rack of games, they are stacked accordingly if you notice.

Hmmm, then for my "Currently seeking..." list. It's termed under the "Law of purchase".

I'll first create a list of things which I would wanna buy, respectively:

Anime pokercards are mostly bought from Comics Connection.

Hmmm, don't really think got any more to say.

The performing and painful Takahina

Hmmm... how do I start off with this... I'm in a little bewildered mood right now.

Anyway, let me start with the main event i've been having for this whole week and that is on the performance in Soka's youth festival.

It began on a fateful day when Priscilla; member of Soka, contacted me and asked if i would like to perform. Seeing that i have nothing to do and that since there is chance for me to perform, why not? Some of you may now start thinking, it's Soka, why do I hav to take part? Well, for the performance, even if you're not a member, you can go for it. So everyone get this clear, Takahina still chant Nanmu Amitabha, not Ningmou Aring Gay Giaur. Don't ask me how to spell that, it's in a type of gibberish which I can't understand.

Thus so, I went for the rehearsal. I was rather surprised to hear that it's Stomp, which is something related to drumming lah. Thus so, with a little more flicking of my hands and you could perhaps say a little showing off from me, the instructor decided to let me create out my make-shift drumset made of fire extinguishers, water buckets and any other shit we can find. Thus so, it's like now I'm going to have my own solo part. Something I didn't expect initially.

After that, I realise there is gonna be another performance, which is something like a mass dance. Wasn't really interested in it, but since I have DDR training, it shouldn't be a problem.

After training for like a whole week (Don't wanna talk about the details), on this 3rd Dec sat was the performance date. There was 2 performances going on and thus so includes 2 Stomp and 2 Mass Dance. I was ok with Stomp, after all, it can't do without my solo.... :x However the mass dance was a little crazy, all the kids and all acted like little idiots and mad asses, it was crazy. And I don't really like their enthusiatic attitude, but I guess it's needed for such mass dance thingy. Whatever.

During the training, there was 1 thing I realised and that is even the main instructor went out of timing at times. Instantly, I don't know what to say, but since if the timing and counting is distorted from the mainframe of any drumming theory, I can only follow it. Effect was good, thanks to the training I got from Drum Mania (Arcade game), thus I can like create all warped up sounds and rhythms i got from the arcade game. Looks like it's not as impractical as I expected after all.

And the best thing is that for the drum solo part, it requires 16 bars of 4, and that is exactly the timing for the beginning of Tamayura, a song in the Drum Mania which I'm rather good at. Plus the mood was exactly perfect for the performance, I used that. I dragged Benjamin, Rong and even Priscilla to train Tamayura in the arcade. Many thanks to the Century Square arcade for accomodating the drum mania machine even if it sucks. Plus, your DDR machine and Capcom VS SNK both ate my $1, don't think I forgot about it.

Anyway, I set up the stage and all and thus was ready to go. As I step in, I went into like...

WTF

At first, I expected to hav a section of my instruments on the stage area, perhaps background. But! They actually made an extra stage just for mine! I was really flattered... too flattered you could say. I never expected my part to be this significant.

When it started, it was ok, but I have 1 problem. My buckets keep on falling off stage. I was worried and I have to constantly hold the pills. But think, how can i drum properly with just 1 hand?? Thus so, the first performance, in my opinion, was just a 6/10. At least the solo Tamayura part was good.

Soon after, that was a short break till the mass dance thingy, thus so I waited around. It was then I received a message.

"Miss Lee is in critical condition. Please see her ASAP."

I was shocked. Very shocked. Miss Lee has been my tuition teacher from Primary 3 to Sec 4 and you could say without her, there won't be the present Takahina.

Now I was getting jittery. I have one more performance and the soon to come mass dance. I was in a totally no mood to perform now. Especially the super enthus mass dance, really not my stuff. But still, I have to last on. At least finish the final Stomp performance. The mass dance can be easily short of 1 person no problem.

So I lasted on. Performed Mass Dance. Forced myself to smile and laugh all, but still i'm not in a good mood. Instead I got more and more irritated at myself and the whole mood. After it, all i'm left is just a full strength drumming. I already applied leave for the second mass dance.

And thus so, it begans. With the spotlight on me, I used my 100% strength. Probably due to the news of my tuition teacher, rage or pain just fills my hands with strength.... Too comic le.

Anyway, the second stomp was good. No pills went berserk and rhythm is ok. Saw Jonathan by the way. And I destroyed a lot of pills on that day. Throughout the week, I devastated a total of 4 middle sized buckets, 2 small sized buckets and 2 big sized buckets. I love Tamayura.

Soon after I went, met up with parents and went for SGH.

Miss Lee was frail and thin... too thin. In the past she was plump and had a good voice and hearty appearance. But now, she looks so... fragile. I can't imagine it. I almost couldn't recognize her after just few months!

She talked to me in a very pale soft voice, a complete contrast to her previously vibrant voice. She was talking so softly that just her appearance and voiced had me totally stunned. Soon after she still asked my studies and many others... it was like, she was trying to say out all her pent up words that she had not told me for a very long time. And indeed, i felt her concern and also her hopes. It was just, heart-aching... totally unbearable. Seeing her in this way is too painful. Due to the cringes of disease, she was now the complete opposite of what I know about her a year ago.

When she talked to me, it was as if she was trying to tell me all her words, it was like... her last words. I couldn't bear it and cried.

From what I know, Miss Lee had her death wills done and was baptised recently due to the influence and the helped offered by the christian committee. She also wanted to see all of the students she taught, even those who were now successful and reputable personnel in their field of profession. And indeed, students from all over came. Hong Kong, Australia and many more.

Now, I didn't really think too much into god or any buddha or even the recent Soka religion. But now, I really hope... really, that she can recover.

The Normal Takahina

Lately, I have been having several discussions with Ben, Jae Sung and Benji with Benji of large percentage. We have been mostly discussing about few issues, such as why studying sucks, why we feel Singapore is fucked up, why are we still single and several other irrelevent issues such as Dota, how to rape a girl and how to get a girl.

But so, Benji has managed to unify a main term for the whole of this issue. That is, "Normal". Let me digress.

In Singapore, the more common way or should I say "normal" way of life for any kids is to study, degree/diploma, job, fuck, retire, die.

Or the more easier said, "SDJFRD". But do note, that is just the macroscopic view of the whole "life" and "normal" issue. There is still the microview. Sounds like Economics.

Anyway, so to say that SDJFRD is the more common lifestyle for most Singaporeans, Takahina included. However, within there is still the issue of life such as Puberty, Character, Love and many others.

Let me just state an example, for characteristic.

Normal Chinese Male Singaporean Teenagers aged 13-18:

- Mostly types in a childish way. Lately from BiG tO sMaLl has turned to ~[= I'm a fucker =]~ and they feel proud to be able to type in a manner most others find stupid.

- Mostly will just like Jay Chou, few will love him. Even fewer will find him a fucker.

- Mostly will have alot of cutey smilies, but in actual fact it only shows how much they like to lag their own computer.

- Download Anime, never buys. And they are very proud to be able to download. "LOOK, I'M THE FIRST TO DL FF:AC, U LOSER MUAHAHAHAHA..."

- Watch porn before, but totally refuses to talk about it.

Well, these are just some few points to describe. Other type of abnormal examples could be like in Puberty, you are a female but you have a small penis starting to grow around that area. For more details please watch the hentai "Bible Black". Girls don't scream, in reality there is indeed such medical cases, but most can't survive infantry stages.

Anyway, the few points we discussed on normality is on girls, exercising, traditional values and the favourite sexual occurrence that could happen.

Girls:

Now, aren't they just one of the thing of wonders to any man? Everyone has different view and requirement for girls they like. Benji for example hates gentle, weak and unspeaking ladies and likes jumpy and siao siao girls like Selphie in Final Fantasy 8 and Rikku in Final Fantasy 10. On the other hand, I just want the girl to be of normal weight and i'm happy. Thus so, you can easily spot the difference.

However, the more generalised "normal" girl in Singapore is things such as...

- Any music as long as not techno.

I tell you, you go friendster check, 7 out of 10 will write something similar to the 3rd point. If you see them write

That! is a very abnormal girl. Only 1 out of 10000 will write something similar to it.

Now now on a note, abnormality is not a bad thing. In fact it could even be good. For benji anyways.

However, if you check out on a... let's say an Indian girl in an Indian Friendster, what could be normal is...

- I laugh easily, once I see an Indian man with turban headbanging a table. Great stuff!

Well, for example nia lah. No offence meant.... heck i dun even know any Indian Friendster.

Well, so you see every country has different "normality" and then so how can this affect our viewpoints?

Well, if you have every girl in Singapore write in a "normal" manner. Then SG guys would be hoping for a totally different girl. That's when he will pursue other country girls.

On some note, I want to applaude once again, Benji for making me realise this 1 great point behind the reasons of exercising. Normally, society wants us to exercise because of...

- Health problems

- You don't look good

- Because it's a good habit.

But then hor, please lah. In the end, why don't we fat people just stand up and say...

"I WANNA EXTEND MY FAMILY BLOODLINE!"

With health problems, we will be weak and our dicks could possible be unable to stand. Without looking good, girls won't let us fuck them. And lastly, fucking is a good habit if you want to reproduce.

Yup, all in all that is just my main reason. KNN. Stop acting innocent and just come out and say you wanna fuck someone. As simple as that.

The fact is that fat people are discriminated and you can't deny that. Thin people who die die also can't fat hor live in existence to scorn the existence of the fat people. And stop saying that you thin not good. RUBBISH!

You thin, girls won't be disgusted with you.
You fat, girls are turned off by your belly.

Frankly, the society can't differentiate too much between thin and normal weight. But overweight people they can easily and hurtfully discriminate. I have been subjected to that pain so many times that I'm used to it. Haha, to think of it... that is perhaps why fat people are known to be more tolerant. Because we suffered enough shit to train up our tolerance level.

Why don't we just say and act abnormal by saying we want to lose weight because we wanna fuck a girl. We don't care about our health and all those shit. But we just wanna get out of the unknowingly discrimination that the society subjects to us regardless it's on purpose or not.

Normal weight people, can you please be considerate to the abnormal weight people?

Conclusion: Normal fatties wanna lose weight due to health problem. Abnormal fatties wanna lose weight due to being unable to fuck a girl or get sued while fucking one.

Traditional Values:

Time as well, has an effect on the "normal" values that a society subjects to. Let's say in the past, girls protect their virgin like their lives. Because normally once virginity is taken by the wrong person, their lives are also most likely gone in suicide. I really have to give it to the people in the past, they have so much courage to suicide.

Anyway, nowadays youngsters don't regard "virginity" as much. They observe and follow the rules of "不要天长地久, 只要曾经用过". For people who are weak in chinese, it means "Don't care sky long ground old, just care use before." People do not care too much into virginity anymore and even more hiong girls are willing to seperate with it with their love or what before marriage. Rong and Benji are 2 person whom I know don't look too much into if their girlfriend is a virgin or not, but surprise surprise, Takahina is a person who actually is quite concerned.

When I mean by concerned is that if... IF Takahina does get a chance to fuck a girl and only to realise she's not virgin. He will be thinking, "OMG, i'm not her first." while enjoying the process of the procedure. And then soon after call any type of assasins, regardless Phantom, Stealth or Nerubian, if not call up Silencer and then instruct for the death of any guys who fucked with her.

OK ok, kidding.

But still it will stir me a little lah. Regardlessly. Not that I will go break up with her after that, but i'll be like a little sad. Yea.... LITTLE.... Girls reading this. Move away from Takahina, he's very... dangerous...
