The Final Fantasing Takahina

Ok, as most of you guys know now, I'm playing Final Fantasy XII, after like a few years after it's release. From what I know, it's released during my A lvls, and I know Sam was chionging the game on the night of the C maths alvl test. What happened afterwards... ask him yourself la hor.

So yeah, here I am playing this game after like 4 years of it's release. Is it good? My first impression of this game is that...

"Ok, this takes time to get used to."

I like the novelty idea of playing it in a Dimension Active Battlefield, very creative, very adventurous.

The whole game has a lot of things and ideas to absorb in, so it gets a little overwhelming initially. You know I actually took like an hour experimenting with the power attack of FFXII, Quickening (Limit break for FF7, Trance for FF9, Overdrive for FFX). You can seriously take damn advantage of Quickening at the start of the game to kill things which you shouldn't be able to kill in early game. Just tons of luck, coupled with some ether and a good hands.

But as it got a little more to the back, it becomes useless from what I heard from Sam, and I find it hard to doubt him. I'm not very fascinated with Quickening at all. But then I'm still in early mid-stages of the game, so I won't talk too much about it yet.

And Ashe, whom I thought will be a character I seriously like, kinda disappointed me with her whiling and impulsive character. I thought she'll be cool and calm... kinda a bit like a lvl 100 Freya. But then, who cares, I'm still early in my game, she could get better I don't know. Other than her red hot skirt... no wait, it's red hot underskirt (a merge of underpants with skirts), I haven't loved her totally.

Just in case you guys are wondering... my favourite FF girl will surely and 100% be...

rinoa Pictures, Images and Photos

Why do I like Rinoa so much?

Cause she is so damn freaking positive! I mean, she tackles one of the most emo-tic protagonist in all games, SQUALL. She's initiative, lovely, cute... ok... enough fanboying...

If I see Alan/Matsu Takako, or some Japanese artist which I really like cosplaying Rinoa, I'll fucking faint and bleed from my nose.

There's this...

Rinoa Heartilly Pictures, Images and Photos

Pretty Imbar man...

Photobucket

This one not too bad too seriously... but...

Photobucket

OMG...

And also, Ashe is quite hot in the final fantasy world,

Photobucket

No, not you Ash wannabe... you are a guy zomg.

Photobucket

Smexy Ashe.... in real life...

And how about the holy summoner turned hot pants gunner Yuna?

Photobucket

Summoning is too slack... so Yuna works out and becomes...

Photobucket

ZOMG Seductive Gunner Yuna...

And naturally, the hottest girl in the gaming world IMHO... Tifa 锁心。

Photobucket

Imagine Woon in L size, acting as Tifa. You get TiFUCK.. But if you get a real chio girl to be Tifa..

Photobucket

She can morph into all types of Tifa...

Huatness...

........................

Just a few weeks ago I kinda re-played a small bit of FFIX. It's strange. It brought back a bit of nostalgia feeling, like getting fucking pissed off and Yan's blowing me away for no reason, and the pain of training to lvl 100. But the most irritating bit about the game would be the chocobo hunt, it took like forever and made me want to kill all chocobo's in FFIX. No other FF has made me so hateful of chocobo.

Chocobo Pictures, Images and Photos

YEAH U CAN FUCKING KILL CHOCOBO'S IN FFXII!! HOW ABOUT THAT!?!?! I'm imaginating KFC... Kentucky Fried Chocobos.

FFVII's chocobo provides the best transport ever. FFVIII's chocobo is close to being useless. FFX's chocobo is well, a pain in the ass too but a must for the story, FFX-2 don't really have much of a chocobo story to tell, but FFIX's... I hated Chocobo hunt with a fury man.

Anyways, FFXIII has came out, I'm just waiting anxiously for the english version to be out soon in march so I can utilise the PS3 which I bought with MA MONEY, although my brother sponsored me first.

But in a sense, I owe him like $700+ for everything. And the motivation really came, when I saw FFXIII's trailer on E3. So one day I just told him...

"Eh... bro, I make proposal with you."

And then, the PS3 just popped out.

So to say, Final Fantasy is quite important to Takahina you know?? Bet most of you don't know right?? Har har har har har..

Ok quit it. Senseless post anyway. Just felt I have to spread my love after watching the English trailer of FFXIII and some cosplay pics.

PS: I actually planned to complete FFXII by this year mid-year... but from the looks of it... and the way I like to "complete game" everything, it looks like it'll take a long longggggggggggggggggggggg time....

Just a little shout out...

To anyone in a relationship whatsoever:

Never ever boast of your relationship with your current flame to your ex, unless he/she wants to know more about it themselves.

Never do that.

It's inconsiderate, totally foolish and shows of either your incompetency to think logically and sensibly, or simply the level of evil you have in inserting that sting to someone.

If you still want to keep a friendship going on, please be considerate, please be sensible, please be logical.

Thank you.

The Confused Takahina

An average person's life in Singapore or any part of the world should contain the following steps:

- Grow up, learning essential skills

- Mature, understanding your life and environment

- Realize, start to know what you want in life,

- Plan, devising out the most appropriate way to carry out this plan

- Action, to carry out this plan and revising it along the way to suit the surroundings.

- Relax, to keep pace slow and enjoy life more now after fighting for almost half a decade.

Along the way, you will feel confused and bewildered.

Takahina did, in fact I always feel confused and bewildered while walking along this path.

I'm now stuck at the "action" phase, still carrying it out. After all this phase is the longest and hardest phase to go through, and whether your life can succeed or not, whether you can relax or not depends on this Action phase.

I have my certainty on where to go, but doubts on my planning, doubts on my skills. Along the way, I get distracted, and let things overshadow my proper view.

It's natural I guess, things like love, lust, friendship, kinship, emptiness, boredom... etc etc, many things in this life tends to shift your view, affect your emotions and alter your priority to something else.

These things are necessary, I don't believe in a life not experiencing any of this and achieving straight route to your goal. If anyone can fully detach himself from all of such emotionally-attached concepts, that person is not human. These things make life more exciting, more nerve-wrecking... imagine it to be like the little crooks that always pokes you while you're concentrating on the boss of a stage in a game. Not really a bother, but seriously irritating and if you don't bother about it it'll poke you to death.

Recently I've let this little creeps to irritate me to death. I kinda deviated from my priority at a point of time. This CNY, meeting up with my cousins and talking a bit, made me understand my folly in ignoring this little creep to let it poke me to critical life. Although I'm not dead yet; just let this thing continue to slowly poke me, I'm pretty sure it'll kill me in my final boss battle.

Everyone should at some point in time, experience the same thing, it may not be now, may not be later, but it'll appear. No boss battle is the same without the little critters around.

For now, I'm trying my best to figure out how to get rid/recruit in this little creep disturbing me now and then, but until then I cannot lose my sight which I did.

Stop being confused, deal with the creep, and continue to fight the boss.

.................................................................................

Just a form of "self-motivation" to myself on this CNY day, which isn't very happy. :/

Hope you guys get a Happy CNY, if not, just take some time, rest up and continue on the boss battle after resting. :)

The Camwhoring Takahina

If you thought Takahina is a guy who doesn't like to be taken photos at, or doesn't camwhore at all..

You're so wrong.

Once again Takahina's theory of being "open", gets into pictures as well. Of course I don't act like some hongkong playboy kid who thinks he can get into every girl's pants with his looks and fame, and take pictures of whatever girls he wants. Seriously, screw such people. Casanova's should have principles of their own, and some brains to like not upload those photos to anywhere, maybe you can burn it into like CD-R, and forever let it be sealed into your deepest memories, no one gets hurt and it's a very sweet memory...

For you anyways Mr E.

Anyways, I'm not going around the whole speech of insulting some playboy, but instead... to show PICS...

And it's...

PICS OF MYSELF!!!!

YAYYYY~~ I know alot of you wanna see it right... ;)

K. The inspiration I admit, comes from a certain girl, and I realised, yes... THIS IS IT!!

Miss Kasumi Chai... take a bow... (to protect her image, I've removed the juicy parts...)

Photobucket

See Kasumi? Image protected by Takahina. :D

Anyways, this year buying CNY clothes for Takahina is quite an enjoyable trip.

Due to a few things.

Firstly, Takabenben said something which made Takahina a happy person.

"Woon, you look better in M, than in L."

Seriously, that made me realised...

"Takahina, you can finally wear M and look good." Huat liao, chaos ensures. Therefore following Kasumi's example, I decided to take pics of myself when I try on clothes which were either chosen by myself, or selected by others in which they felt was good for me. So to say, the pics which I post of myself, will never suck.

Naturally. Takahina is like... good... awfully good...

Photobucket

First one is this, the shirt which Takabenben said I look better in M. Huat liao. My first camwhoring experience... NOW I KNOW WHY THE GIRLS LIKE TO DO IT SO MUCH

ZOMGXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZ....

Taken in Recoil, $40 worth, this shirt is the typical ah-beng t-shirt which you see nowadays in public. A more normal style for Takahina, this shirt goes mainly into the "clubbin" category, meaning you won't see much of Takahina in this. Not too attracted, but... I like it, simple, normal, adaptable, and that hint of ah-bengness in it. Good. Plus the cutting isn't too bad for someone of my size. However 1 thing is that I can't go any bigger in size, if not this shirt will look bad.

2nd one...

Photobucket

T-shirt in Pull and Bear, also worth $40, spotted by Takabenben on the same day. I loved the design of the T-shirt, Japanesy, complex yet subtle. The material of the T-shirt is good as well, fitting and shows of my new bod... HUR HUR HUR HUR....

3rd one... Not exactly a clothes thingy, but taken in the toilet after my haircut and a bit of hairstyling by the hairstylist.

Photobucket

To be frank, I wasn't very pleased with it. Kinda normal, and predicted to be hard to handle without good gel/wax. It focuses on layering and parting, a pretty normal style done by him.

I wanted to get back the feel of the hairdo I've done in the past when I first decided to dye my hair, only Desmond, Shimin who both coincidentally saw me on the streets and Priscilla who accompanied me throughout the whole process of the hairmaking (appreciate it... will give you a candy in the future :D) saw the design of the hairdo I've liked the most and felt confident the most. I didn't camwhore then, which is wasted. But to say it felt just a bit like this...

Photobucket

Takahina obviously didn't do a good job with both the camera and the hair. Obviously hair still remains one of the biggest obstacle for me, preventing me from becoming someone like

Photobucket

Takuya Kimura san.

Or

takeshi kaneshiro Pictures, Images and Photos

Takeshi Kaneshiro san, for my 2011 plans, activated by Takachinchin.

4th one, taken when shopping with Takaminmin in Ion's Muji. They have some real damn good casual Japanese wear there which Takahina didn't realised. DAMN.

Photobucket

Well apparantly, Takaminmin likes Cardigans and this type of savy casual as I call it. Takahina has NEVER in his life wore a cardigan before so it's the first time... Didn't buy this cause Takahina felt it's still a tad tight, despite Takahina being M-proof already.

5th one, same place, same time... different style.

Photobucket

I love the blouson, seriously it's the design which I was kinda looking for this year's CNY, a shirt-like jacket... can act as both anyways. Has a rather formal casual look to it which I like, not too beng, not too business either. The mood is just nice. Not too hot either, and cutting fits. I'll prefer a L for this, but M will do. :) It's a $100, at Muji.

So in the end, Takahina has finished his CNY shopping. HAPPY ^_^.

In anyways, when you realise that you can actually look good, just buy the clothes and think later. I mean it's the first time Takahina is really satisfied with his clothes this year. :D Initially wanted to buy a $175 jacket from Zara... heng Takabenben stopped me. :p

.........................................................

To all the new fans of my blog, only 1 or 2 I know from UNI, :p, I'll throw in an extra pic of Desmond in the past just for fun. (JC pic...)

Photobucket

Desmond... is the nerd at the right, with glasses looking like a cock. Beside him is Qing Heng the Walking Joke. Me in front, a natural leader since birth. ;D Junwei the yardstick for noobness behind me, and the can't stop grinning Takasamsam at extreme left.

Huat la. Des, don't hate me man. I'm too good for you to hate.

The Japanese Takahina part 2

Mention Japan.

What are the few things you'll think of?

sora aoi Pictures, Images and Photos

Sora Aoi... humba humba...

Yua Aida Pictures, Images and Photos

Yua Aida... huat la.... guys sweat liao right???

Ok ok, that's the perverted Takahina.

But seriously, it makes you think, why is Japanese's porn industry so vibrant? I mean Anime industry I can understand, with the story plot, the characters, the fantasy behind it, anyone can get interested and attracted to Anime/Manga industry.

But... porn... why??

Previously I stated before. Japan has a few greats. 1 is anime and their popculture. 2 is porn, 3 is their industry and financial power in Asia.

The 2nd great makes a good wonder, why Porn? I mean their porn industry is so brilliant, they have OLD PEOPLE PORN!

(Believe me, you don't wanna see the cover. It's nightmarish to the extent that even Takahina doesn't dare to post any of it on his blog)

Well of course with cute girls with angelic faces and demonic bodies, which guy won't be tempted to them? Their high pitch voices in porn can make anyone sweat.

But why did Japan enter this field in the first place? I thought on general they are a very conservative bunch?

Conservative? Yeah. Extremist, yeah. Fanatics, yeah.

The culture of Japan works in a strange way. The nature of "Rape Club" itself shows something. Their lack of respect for woman, and woman's nature of not being able to stand up for themselves, and in a sense a woman's lack of respect for themselves.

Takahina in a sense is conservative in that woman of all things, should protect their body and chastity the most, not being loose. You respect your dignity as a woman. (In a sense that's why I don't like the stereotyped clubbing girls, cause they seem to display a lack of self-protection) Naturally guys should do the same, don't fool around too much, have some self-restrain.

But of course, no one in the world cares about that, neither will the Japanese do. (Nor Sgreans as well) If money or impulse is able to make you sell your body, then you don't appeal to me. You can like me cause I'm rich, but you can't have sex with me and request money from me for it.

The modern Japanese, under Takahina's scrutinized view, is that they are divided into 2 extremes. And a 3rd percentile in the balanced area.

1 the traditional and conservative type. Mainly influence from the older generation. The other is the open, fanatical type, mainly new age youngsters influenced from Western culture with added features of their own. Imagine US people to be at 80%, Japanese will be at 100%.

Let me just say about the 1st type, the older generation traditional view.

They are the ones who are anal and not letting freedom.

Cute!!!!! Pictures, Images and Photos

Owwww... so sweet... but...

Photobucket

"Son, you don't take over the shop as the Ramen Unker you're gonna be cooked with the soup! I'll freaking disown you!!! Look at my eyes they mean freaking business!!"

Or...

Imagine a son who doesn't want to become a doctor, yet his father forces and stressed him to become a doctor. What do you get? A stressful society.

Gackt Pictures, Images and Photos

"Look at me... I'm stress."

Why Japan is such a stressful society is contributed by mainly 2 things, 1 I believe is the naturally fast paced society of Japan, 2nd is the mentality of this traditional family. Why so many people in Japan commit suicide, be it students who can't cope with the expectations of life, or old man who are abandoned by family for being useless, has gotta to with 1 nature of their traditional pride and nature. Survival of the fittest is very evident in Japan. (Another place I know with an even higher rate of committing suicide is Hong Kong)

If you think Singapore is stress, wait till you go to Japan. You think you can handle their society?

Pt number 2, the other part of the picture: The freaking open people.

Ok, maybe it's a bit wrong to call them open. Should say "Open-minded". Casual sex, posting pictures, whatever you say it, they did it. The leading industry in sex toys and stuff, they seem to excel in it. I can truthfully say now that the US porn industry is losing out to Japan, in terms of quality, and quantity per square inch. (Meaning for the same amount of land-space and area and population, US pales in comparison) And believe me... when Japanese mean extreme, they are extreme.

It's never a coincidence that porn industry strives so well in a nation. It's the social thinking, be it due to monetary issues, or so much stress from studying that the girls need some "love", or whatever you have, something about the society made it soar into world history.

I dare to say most people around hadn't been to a Japanese club before, I also want to take a look for myself, see whether the Singapore clubbing culture is open, or just plain crude compared to Japan's. For all you know, maybe Takahina, who's approach towards clubbing is never initiative but sporting, could get some action or 2 in Japanese clubs, unlike Singapore clubs whereby girls just ignore Takahina... (Just you wait you singapore girls... just you wait...)

Ok, joking about that, but I dare to bet my ass off that Japanese clubs are more hyper and open than Singapore's. Being Open??? Yes.

So it's good, it shows a good reason for a guy to go over to Japan. Well of course if you don't mind your Japanese girlfriend licking another guy in front of you in the club go ahead. Or she may suddenly show you a DVD with the cover...

"Fantasy with 18 years old, 100 man straight ぶっかけ..."

Well, if you like that, and can handle it go ahead. I'm not saying that it's bad to be open-minded, but there should be a limit to open-mindedness while Japanese from my impression seems to be able to go the whole stretch. So the innocent image of any Japanese girls you have... could be fake. And believe me, not all Japanese girls are as beautiful as you think. Enter their society and see for yourself.

Ganguro Pictures, Images and Photos

Ganguro, the weirdest species of female ever.

How about Japanese guys? Well, truth be told, I'm haven't heard or been able to dig out too much about them. Rape Club only gave a part of the picture of Japanese guys. But I have a weird gut feel that Japanese guys are less horny than the Singapore counterparts. But the possible lack and the feature of guy power in Japan is still very much around, as hinted by my Japanese School's teacher 福島 Sensei.

男尊女卑. In romanji Dan Son Jyo Hi. My teacher taught this phrase in Japanese with a slight tinch of anger and passion.

..............................................................

But overall though, take what I wrote with a pinch of salt, after all Takahina has never really lived in Japan before. I believe elements of what I wrote exist, but still it shouldn't be that prevalent.

As i stated above, a 3rd percentile of the people should be living a normal live with a balance in between. But... people being people, how many appearance of a "normal lifestyle" hides a deep secret inside??

Look for yourself. :D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Takahina may write more about Japanese and his personal opinion on them, when he has the mood and materials. Ready for part 3?
The Japanese Takahina part 1
True I like Japanese culture. After all my nickname Takahina "タカヒナ”, is Japanese.
I created this nickname when I first got into the culture of knowing more about Japanese pop, especially in the pop music like Ayumi Hamasaki, Do As Infinity in about 2000.
hamasaki ayumi Pictures, Images and Photos
Ayumi Hamasaki when she was still young and before the so-called "plastic surgery" treatment.
Then came my craze into Japanese Anime and Manga like Love Hina, and I gradually know more about Japanese stuff like drama, and more artist like Matsu Takako.
love hina Pictures, Images and Photos
One of my most favourite pic of Love Hina, not because it's all nude, but mainly because it's one of the most complete picture among the collections.
Photobucket
Matsu Takako, one of the first Japanese "goddess" that I have loved. First saw her in the JDrama "Hero" and started loving her since.
If you notice, Takahina comes from the merge of this 2 "favourites" at my time when my fanaticism is the highest.
Matsu TAKAko
Love Hina
And you get Takahina. So for those who wanted to know why I name myself Takahina, reason is such.
I love Japanese culture, 95% of my songs are Japanese songs, of the albums I have bought, only F.I.R is the non-Japanese group I have bought (and F.I.R had the influence of Do As Infinity in their music), of the many bands which I had played with, almost all of them played Japanese music together before, only 1 or 2 didn't.
You could say, yes my obessession with Japanese came from my fanboy roots, and I sought to understand more about Japanese culture and society.
Now that I'm older, I had understand much more about Japanese, along with Japanese culture and society, and yes I have to say my liking for Japanese has drop a great deal over the years. It's not just because recently I read about Issei Segawa the Cannibal, or because of this Rape Club thingy in Japan I have known about, no. I know about Rape Club a long time ago when I was "researching" about Japanese.
Rape Club
For those who had done my "Who knows Chong Woon Han the most" quiz, you would have realised despite my liking towards Japan, it's not the country whereby I'm the most "contented" to live in, I will never want to live there for long, on business trip, on holidays, for 2-5 years... maybe. But to set up a family there, to continue my life there, it's almost a no-no unless something really big happens to me which makes me change my mind.
The purpose of this post, is not to diss Japan or anything. Singapore in a sense has no right to say anything about Japanese, neither is Takahina anyone at all to say anything about Japan. Neither would I want to. But I do wanna tackle, on the ways people thought about Japan, the mis-conceptions which you guys see on media.
Firstly, let's just talk about Anime/Manga/Pop culture.
Japan's Pop culture is strong and independent, in that it can survive on itself. If I wanna be frank, Japan can remain so strong and remembered in the world right now, 60% would be due to it's pop culture, anime manga etc. 30% on it's porn industry, 10% on it's own personal industry.
And both fortunately and unfortunately, this pop culture is precisely the thing which influences and mis-influences youngsters about Japan. Anime/Manga/Games, they all create a following for Otakus and fanatics, people can go gaga over Morning Musume, Suzumiya Haruhi, or Gazette, just to state a few. People can play for hours and hours and hours, without sleeping/eating/whatever playing Final Fantasy. People can spend TONS AND TONS of money, on cosplaying.
All of this, are fine. They are part of the pop-culture in Japan and deserves it's own rightful place in Japan.
However, at the same time, this wave of influence, created this false image of Japanese almost similar to that of an Utopia. The freedom to pursue whatever you want, the freedom to be gothic/emo/punk/cute/pretty/model-like/anime-like etc etc. I mean, yes they do get the freedom to do so, but it doesn't ensure that you can become 1 too.
Going to Japan in a sense, doesn't ensure you get the freedom to do so.
Ok as a simple example, I can go to Japan with my band in Singapore, in hopes of getting big since Japanese people are relatively open with music, and accepting. You sure that's the case??
I'm sure tons of people have watched DMC (Detroit Metal City, not Destroy my Cock), and you should know how the main character "desired" music didn't get accepted or acknowledged...
Negishi Pictures, Images and Photos
"Amai... Amai Koibito..." --> I'll fucking stuff Durian in your mouth to stop you singing.
Of course his Lord Krauser status became damn big, but seriously is that what he wanted?? I'll leave that for you to find out.
The point is that Anime/Manga etc etc has created a false impression to our Singapore craving Japanessy that Japan is a freaking big land of opportunity... (Well it's bigger than Singapore that's true...) It created a false image that through pure hard work and stuff, you'll definitely make it. That's not always the case. Surely, dreams and goals are good. But to achieve it you need to work towards it, and not just DREAM about it. That's the false impression Singaporeans are getting, we aren't working towards it, we're just dreaming towards it. And even if we're working towards it we aren't working it in a correct way.
Let's say band for example, the example I know the most.
Band leader get bandmates, band creates original, band goes over to Japan to test their luck.
Their standard? Their strategy? Their aim? Did they think of these many factors in??
The fact remains that alot of Singaporean still remain very immature in their thinking that all things about Japan is good, just because of the image set by their entertainment industry. For all you know, maybe... JUST MAYBE, Aya Hirano managed to become so popular in Japan because she slept with her TV/anime producers?? I can't believe I'm saying this, but yeah, IT'S A POSSIBILITY. I mean, maybe she's stuck up? maybe she's a goddess in real person, YOU NEVER KNOW. For all you know The Rock of WWE may be feeling "why the fuck am I doing a Toothfairy show?!?!?! I will fucking people elbow (the rock's signature move) out the teeth of the kids that are supporting this movie!!!"
(Aya Hirano and Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ROCK, I'm sorry if you do manage to read this, but it's for my fans. And there's no sense of defamation intended at you... Please understand)
Behind all the image the entertainment industry has set for you, it is an image!! Just like any other entertainment industry like WWE, US, Korean, Taiwan, China, they are all IMAGES, and shouldn't be rely entirely on as the gauge to how "good" a country is.
Simple, Singapore's image is a very clean and proper country to every country. But stay here long enough, and you'll realise behind the image that's a fucked up nature about it... Just like Japan and any other country in the world, and just like any other person in the world, we keep up an image and you'll only understand more about the person after knowing more about them, investigating more about them.
...........................................................................
Part 2 will be up in the next post around next week. Too tired to even think now. >_>
PS: This blogpost is done at 3.25am.
The Phoenix Down-less Takahina
How am I no life right now??
When in the past I can go out and...
Photobucket
Watch movie with my dear Stella.
Photobucket
Hanky Panky with my dear Benji.
Photobucket
Camwhore alone in the toilet with my dear China Phone.
Photobucket
Having a great jam with my dear bandmates...
Photobucket
Get groupshots with my dear Taka's. (There's Takabenben, Takasamsam, Takaweiwei, Takachinchin, Tatemocow)
Photobucket
Take group picture with my dear Yui.
Photobucket
Or take group picture with... MIIIIIIIIIIYAAAAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....~~~~~
Photobucket
Or take solo pic with... TOMOMIIIIIIIIIIIIII~~~~~~~~...
Photobucket
Takahina who was once handsome and suave... has fallen to...
Photobucket
Going home and sleep like no one's business everyday.
This is...
The undead takahina. Using phoenix down on me will kill me seriously.
As I stated before in facebook, working plus study is like poison, eatin away at your soul slowly like
Photobucket
this critter poking me everyday 9999. Even if Takahina has as much life as Omega Mark (the strongest shit in FFXII), I'll still perish.
Fatigued has caught up with me once the previous tuesday. From then Takahina has recovered a bit, but still the tonberry is POKING me.
Anyways just an update.
My work at TNT as a part time data entry clerk, is not unenjoyable actually. It's a very typical work, just that it gets draining on you eventually. So you feel like shit after work everyday. Coupled with the fact I always sleep late, I'm asking for it la. (For example, this blogpost is written after work at 1am)
Few people there like Ah Sam (yes Takasamsam, you hav a competition for your name), Hee Fong jie, and a few other of the part timers and full timers, people there are friendly and helpful, so it's quite fine throughout. The only complain is that we're short handed and the business seems to be improving, meaning that we will suffer more.
You wanna know why when Economy is good, people earn more money??
Economy good = business good.
Business good = more work to do.
More work to do = more time spend to work.
More time spent to work = more hours paid.
So if I direct the whole bulk of what I summarised to my current situation. It kinda just means that the good economy produces a dying Takahina.
Yup. As Simple As That. Bullshit.
School's fun, job's nice. Sleep's not enough, FFXII is not getting completed. Takahina is getting fatter by the minute. Bah.
Doesn't mean I'll quit my job or school anytime. This life now is very fruitful (well in a sense), I'm heading towards the type of busy life I anticipated when I started uni, so yeah it's nice by all means. Just a drag though, as the social time spent with my buddhies, friends, families, brothers will be much lesser.
And if I do get a girlfriend? I will lose her cause I no time for her.
HUAT AR!!!!
The Family Financing Takahina
You know once, Benji told me 1 thing.
"Parents who failed to plan for their family financially are failed parents."
I don't know whether he stills remember that or not, whatever. But then at that point of time I was vehemently against that idea.
"Money shouldn't be a problem in the point of love."
Ah-huh. >_>
Now I think twice, money really is a problem.
Look at the prevailing family in Singapore now. Seriously out of the families in Singapore, 50% are well suited to lead a family, 30% are struggling to, 20% should just stay single.
Seriously.
I'm starting to see more eye in eye with Benji in that parents, before thinking of getting married, like FUCKING...
"I DO"
"I DO... NOT!"
Kinda matter.
Girls, don't tell me just a bit of hoaxing and a ring can get you in?
And once you get married, POP COMES THE WEASEL.
TwiWeasel Pictures, Images and Photos
So how? get married? don't get married. Ok PAP this is like a wake up call to an answer as to why Singapore JUST REFUSE TO GET MARRIED.
HAR HAR HAR, ALL YOUR POLITICALLY BRILLIANT BRAINS CAN'T EVEN BE COMPARED TO 1 SINGLE TAKAHINA!!
Ok, let's not digress.
The very simple understanding is simply the cost in getting married.
Let me break it down for you.
1. Get Married
You need to pay for all the ceremonies, pictures, shit. Just that cost you a bomb. You think the red bomb you throw to others will offset? NOOOOOO..... TAN GU GU (Aunty Tan) ARRRR... The margin of profit is fucking negative.
Getting married will eventually means years of hong bao and more expenses like getting a HDB, getting this getting that getting alot other stuff. Cause getting married is almost equal to saying...
"yo Pa... Ma... I grow up le... no need to depend on you old folks le... I need to pay back your maturity funds le..."
Whereas your Pa and Ma will be "HUAT AR!! MATURE LIAO !! GOT $$ LIAO"
Uncle See Foo Pictures, Images and Photos
"Because I trust... in my son. You, can do it too." - Happy Uncle.
And what about Chinese New Year?? You'll feel like escaping back to Genting like my parents. After like 3 decades they bui tong liao, must escape liao.
2. Getting a family
So you think you can be childless after getting married? WO PUI!!
It's impossible, because your matured investors will DEMAND you to produce a toy for them as special gift, a.k.a your kid.
And unless you are a couple who doesn't love each other, I'm pretty sure sexual activities happen frequently. The probability of getting one child, regardless with condom or not, in the long run will be confirm a 1. A FUCKING 1, MEANS CONFIRM WILL HAVE.
Unless Jesus don't love you, a kid is confirmed.
So a family is pretty much confirmed. Where do you go from there?? Heh Heh Heh...
3. Providing for that kid which you didn't planned for.
I was that kid which my parents didn't planned for. That's why they are refusing my uni allowance fees. But never mind, I shall continue.
Having a kid means wat?
It means additional...
Medical fees (For both parents and kid, parents for getting overly stress, kids for getting even more stressed)
Photobucket
Education fees (You gotta love SparkleTOTs, btw right below my house there's a sparkletots WAITING FOR ME!!)
Growing up fees (You gotta like feed 1 more person now.)
Misc fees (Every kids gotta have somethings to play with/holidays to go to/girls to fuxck with, all these takes $$)
I mean even your kid's fucking money (as in literally FUCKING money) is from u.
You think its gonna be cheap?
I attended this talk once, about child's finance blah blah. It cost to like hundreds of thousands in total. 1 toto first prize may not be even be enough.
Setting up a family, needs financial planning, heck doing anything in life needs financial planning.
So Benji's words starts to haunt me... in that it's true. You need to have some finance in you, to be able to start a marriage.
And that is why Singaporeans don't get married. As simple as that. Money. You think the gov bit of Child Bonus Policy gotta work? If it works I tok my dick to solidify my future reluctance of getting a family.
Ok to be frank, I'll like to have a family. I'll be kidding myself if I said, "no... no family for me."
But I'll keep this in mind man. If you wanna be a good parent, be a well-off one first, at least be in the top 50% families, so you child don't suffer, being unable to do/learn/live stuff which they want to.
The Top 5 Most Influential People to Takahina in 2009! - Part 3
Ok, although it's a little late, 2009 is already over and 2010 (not 2012 Tian Wei and Ben) has just begun. Next day is the start of school, and I'm feeling freaking tired now at 2:36am. But never mind.... let me begin the number 1 of 2009.
To be frank, it's kind of a give away, machiam like how Barcelona seems to be sweeping away every cup they get in contact with. If Barca is in EPL, I can tell you no other teams would come close. They are kind of a league beyond now, and even Real Madrid can't get close to.
No.1:
Photobucket
Of course this pic is of ultimate gayness. Especially brought about with Chin Han's smile being so vibrantly pretty and filled with happiness. (I love you too Chin han) So you see, we are so gay, I can't believe that we haven't fucked each other literally yet.
And to be frank with have tons of other photos, just check out Chong the Dinosaur and Friends and you'll know why.
Now then... ever notice, why it's named after "Chong" the dinosaur and friends?
Yes, the group in a sense is named after me. Cause in a sense I'm the one who brought them together.
Last year I mentioned them, heck I always mention them. Now check my facebook, is only them, no one else. Seriously makes one feel that you have no life. I mean, even Pang Shen has some other girls posting something in his page, or commenting in something about his post. Even if so, PANG SHEN is the authority in MH, that makes girls attracted to him.
I have been nurturing... I shouldn't use "I", I should use "we".
Truth be told, I had been tired and exhausting managing the group, organizing events so that everyone would be happy and to keep the group going on. I don't do this for other groups of my friends at all, only "Rurouni" which I'm still more affectionate to calling, since it's the first name it has got.
I had been having spasms of emo-ness at times, I have been limiting myself and ignoring "responsibilities" which I'm committed to for the group, because I wanted to let someone else take this job, or just share the burden with me. But I did it in a rather selfish way. I did it in a selfish, unresponsible manner in which to date scores no reasons for me to excuse myself.
At the peak of periods, I always sent sms to the group like...
"Today Free and Easy, no meet. Feel free to organize meetings among yourselves."
The fact is not I wanted out of the group, I would never want to be out of the group since they're kinda the only bunch of friends I truly trust with my life. I'm just lazy. Like fucking lazy, as in a pig lazy.
I didn't realised my actions were detrimental to the group. You could say I just wanted quit of the event coordinator role, without thinking through much. Even if I did so, someone else could have easily taken over the position of events coordinator like Twai-ster, Bento, Lim face and Talibai.
But the feel would be different, because I'm the founder of the group, I merged the group together, bringing in people from outside like Tian Wei and Samuel into my East View group. To date, the ultimate regulars of the group would consist of these 4, and including me, 5.
1 thing which I didn't expect, is for my introduction of Tian Wei and Samuel into the group to merge so beautifully well, and the group would only grow larger.
We've been through many things, like Gackt's first love and first puke, the many club session, the many lans sessions, all these brought about fun, laughter, peace and joy to everyone in the group. When we are fun, we are fun. When we need to be serious, we're still like a bunch of jokers, but that's all the fun there is to it right now.
That's what this group means to me now, it's for a lifetime and I fully understood that this year. Therefore my pivot role of events coordinator cannot disappear, cause if i'm gone, the group is gone, and I probably would emo myself to death.
The group consist of... (in terms of age)
Stars Ahn Jae Sung
Ben Yeo Lock Wei
Benjamin Seet Chong En
Malcolm Chong Woon Han
Stella Ng Shu Yu
Shion Wah Chin Han
Samuel Lim Wenjun
Chen Junrong
Woo Tian Wei
And it'll only grow larger. Trust me.
Everyone in this group is unique in their own way.
Everyone in this group is stubborn and prideful in their own way.
Despite that, this group is united in it's own way, and it'll be so all the way.
So long ago omg.
The 5 most influential people to Takahina in 2009 - Part 2!
3rd on the list:
Photobucket
She's kinda here for the 3rd time I guess? I ever since I know her or something, every year she's in here, every year for kinda either the same, or for different reasons.
Miss Tan Shuqin, or Mrs... (I don't know her husband's surname)
Yup, she's married. Or engaged to be specific.
To answer the question on most people's mind who read the blog, what is she on my mind now?
She's definitely not my girlfriend.
She's definitely not my wife.
I will call her... 最收悉的陌生人。
Reason being, I'm holding a "put her away unless neccesary" policy. I don't pick up her calls whatsoever unless really needed. This is needed cause unless I do say, I dare bet the strings between me and her can't be broke, and she can't be a married lady if so.
I can't totally ignore her, cause if I do so, her trump card of committing suicide will pop up and I'll be totally screwed in that case, which I don't want to happen. Be it she's kidding, or not kidding, or half serious half boiled I have no idea, that thing in the slightest sense, cannot happen.
So why is she in the list this time round again?
Well, I have no idea. All I know is that during this year round, 25% of my troubles come from her, even school doesn't give me so much problems. That itself is influential.
It made me realized 1 thing about myself. Some feelings about me which I didn't want to admit. Somethings which I either had, or hadn't told anyone about.
There's still something between me and her, this very weird relationship which I don't want to tell her. This year I had an "official" relationship with her in which I declared that I have a girlfriend. In the past I didn't say it, but during that time I did and everyone knew, including my parents.
I don't know I'm being noble to her or not, neither do I know whether she gets me or not, but she has to understand that my intentions for her were never out of malice. She spends a huge amount of time in my mind, perhaps even more so than the number 1 in 2008 now.
So my hope for her is that she gets happiness and lives a happy life, something which I can't promise her now currently.
She could also be the reason now that I don't feel like getting into a relationship just yet.
2nd on the list:
The band "Child's Play".
However if I wanna tone down specifically... it's...
Photobucket
Edwin Toh
Child's play is a milestone for me as I was first time, a leader. I may or may not be a good leader, that leaves to be answered by everyone in the group, which I think Haze will CONFIRM answer negatively, but other than that I hope I did a good job of it.
It made me understand, the ropes, and the ways in which a band should be managed and led. I believe these skills will lead me down continuously as I continue my life on, with my own business, with my own family, with my own life. And with Child's Play being somewhat a "serious" band as I initially planned, and it's downfall with the gradual dismissal of it after the only gig done by us, I realized the fragile nature of being in a team itself, and the commitment really needed by everyone, with the same dreams, for a team to progress forward.
Main lessons to learn for a band: To have the same commitment, to have the same goals, to understand the band's route and nature.
It doesn't matter what's your influence, what you know, how well you know it (well of course you need a basic knowledge of your own musical instruments), as long as the band is united, things can flow.
Then with Child's Play, I get Edwin as my keyboardist in a very lucky nature. It's thanks to Soft I get it.
Be it fate that I studied in the same primary school and in the same class as him, or we managed to click so well together in the band and personally, I'm grateful to him in many ways.
Firstly, Edwin is the one who managed to make the band work and function so well. His musical talents are vital to the band as I have always said before, and seriously he is the best keyboardist I have ever seen currently. And since he is 21, freaking young, I believe his road in life will be even more impressive and fruitful.
Secondly, Edwin sparked back my musical dreams. I got pretty occupied with work and stuff, and neglected my music dreams. He brought it back, when I work with him, I feel really happy, relaxed and at the same time creative. Musically, he helped me improved. In the past I was stuck in my drumming skills, whereby I didn't felt like jamming was improving me whatsoever, Edwin's playstyle and creativity in his music made me come back to the time whereby playing drums was fun. And playing with Child's Play in a whole made me really excited and perked. Unlike playing with EvE or any other bands I had been with, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Child's Play.
Thirdly, Edwin being a budding musician, had a lot of contacts with him in the music industry. In a sense he was my lobang, whenever he needed a drummer, I would be in his contact list. I'm very honoured to say the least, because frankly although I won't say I'm a lousy drummer, there are tons of drummers out there better than me and I'm sure he knows some of them. However, he would use me for his music projects and gigs. In a sense, it made me feel hopeful, hopeful that I can be a musician on a similar caliber as him, and on a professional basis. I've learnt alot from the many sessions/recordings I had with him, and I cherish it.
Fourth, Edwin had a musical dream, and it influenced me. To set up a music industry in Singapore for budding talents, for youths, to manage them, to nurture them into the mainstream/music industry.
I did say before, that I wanted to be a successful business man. In what manner I do not know. In a sense you could say it's a dream which had no proper idea yet. But now I do have, and it's for the music industry. A talent/music management agency To nurture and develop this obscure industry in Singapore, and develop out the talents who failed to nurture their true potential. Be it this is for Singapore, for myself, or for anyone. I had a sense of belonging and I knew instantly,
"This is the final route and ending point which I know I want to reach."
I don't dare to have any lofty dreams, but for once I know, this is a dream I will want to fulfill.
And Edwin is the one who dawned on me, and exploded this feeling of dreams within me.
That's why he's number 2 on this list. And I doubt he'll ever know the effect he had caused on me. Perhaps both he and me, will work again in the future professionally. Who knows?
.........................................................
Number 1 will be on the next post. :)
